If the word peel scares you, don’t worry: this skin-saving treatment won’t leave you with an angry tomato face. More than just an exfoliator, it actually improves the texture of your skin, minimize pores, lighten darks spots, and add moisture. You’ll see an immediate difference: smoother skin and fewer breakouts.
So far this has always been my go to at home peel. I keep trying others but always go back to this one. If my skin seems like its breaking out, I use this peel at night and my skin is nice and clear in the morning. I use the extra strength and they also have one that is more gentle.5
Since I started reading Caroline Hirons blog religiously, I took her advice and added an acid toner to my routine. Albeit, this is the first acid I've used on a regular basis, I absolutely love it and can tell a HUGE difference in my skin. It has completely turned my skin over making it smoother, evening out my skin tone, as well as, decreasing my breakouts (or healing them asap when they do pop up) within the first two weeks of using it. I use it nightly, both pads. It stings just a hair, especially if I've used my Clarisonic or Suki sugar scrub as part of my cleansing routine first, but it's nothing terrible. I hold it over any "bleeding" zits that I've popped (correctly, of course) and it stops it pretty quickly and the spot heals within 24-48 hours.
I highly recommend these, especially for 40 and over skin. I'm 43, and I will continue to use these pads. They are pricey, but they are totally worth it if you're looking to add an acid into your routine. Finally, these are so convenient! It's so much easier to have a pre-soaked pad you just pull out to use vs having to add a liquid yourself to a cotton pad. A must have for those looking to revamp their skin!
Use this anytime your skin is acting up or having a little breakout or just not as radiant you you would like. Adds radiance, hydration, and smooths the complexion! I use this a couple times a week over night and I have noticed such a difference in my complexion. Love!5
These have changed my skin! I have always had lots of small bumps all over my forehead that specially get bad after pregnancy. So when I stopped breastfeeding I decided to see a esthetician who introduced me to these pads. And oh wow! I have the best skin now I have ever had.5
Melasma and sun damage drew me to this product and I have to say: LOVE IT. I've had medical peels from my dermatologist friends and these are better, more convenient, and the improvements I was looking for. Buying my second round!5
If you are consistent and use them for at least 3 weeks, you will see a very nice difference. I use them about every 4 months for a few weeks.5
I am a huge, huge fan of these pads. They are simple to use and the results are terrific - they even my skin tone and and reduce my pores. I have dry sensitive skin and have not had any negative skin reactions in the 4 months I have been using. I use 2 to 3 times a week before going to bed and follow up with a simple moisturizing cream. The Alpha Beta pads are a great addition to any skincare regime.5
If the word peel scares you, don’t worry: I consider myself to have sensitive skin and I actually purchased the extra-strength by accident. It has never irritated and feels very refreshing. It is not the old-fashioned mask that you spread on and peel off...there is no real peeling involved. No red skin or flaking. I'm not sure others notice a difference, but I notice a reduction in fine lines and just a general improvement in skin tone. Then again, I have had a few compliments lately on my "general" appearance...maybe these peel treatments are why?5
This is the best peel ever. Gentle enough to use everyday. My friend had the product and I used it once, the next day my skin was noticeably clearer and my pores were smaller. I had to purchase, and now I am hooked!5
I like the product and have been using every second or third day. Based on price - seems pricey to use daily if you already use retina.5
