Specially designed with coarse facial hair in mind, this all-natural soap lightly exfoliates the skin beneath your bristle while simultaneously giving your beard a healthy luster. The herbaceous blend of rosemary and English mint act as an aromatic wake-up call, perfect for a brisk beginning to your day of cutting down trees and other oh-so-manly pursuits.
The smell was too strange for me. It reminded me of a pine scented household cleaner.1
Maybe it's just me. But I am not a fan of this. I don't have crazy facial hair, but just the same - didn't do much for me. I'm also not for messing with my facial hair, as at times facial hair products tend to make my skin go bonkers. Okay scent, okay feel afterwards, but nothing to scream about.1
Got this online to try on my FULL beard. Didnt feel that much different from regular soap or face wash. Have used it 4 times now. Not sure when im suppose to notice a difference.2
My boyfriend reported back that this product had a good lather and cleaned well, but I wasn't into the scent. It smelled like he had been running through the woods, which might be appealing to some. I also don't understand why you would need a separate cleanser for face hair...2
I don't get it. Beard doesn't feel any different after I use it. Have to work hard to get lather. Totally not worth it in my book.3
This is a great product. The soap smells great, and leaves my facial hair squeaky clean. I found that this soap keeps the skin beneath my beard smooth, and moisturized.. Great stuff!4
Typical dudes don't know to do facial care- especially with facial hair. This product lasts for--ever but a little goes a long way. I got it for my fiance and it hit the nail on the head, a great grooming product that's easy to remember to use and effective.
This is a great gift for dudes!
I had been eyeing this for a while and finally pulled the trigger; it did not disappoint. It smells great, definitely get the rosemary. I was a little surprised that it fits my definition of Soap than Shampoo, but that's semantics. My beard felt really clean after and my face tingled. I am using in concert with the Elixer, and the duo really makes my beard softer. My one criticism is after the first time, I am having a hard time getting the soap, which has hardened into the tin, out. Otherwise, an awesome get.4
While it seems a bit counterintuitive, I try to stick to liquids for travel. Here's why: when you put a bar soap away wet it gets all mushy and gross. Liquids at least maintain their intended consistency.
That said, this worked well for the short time I was able to use it, and if they had a liquid version I'd be happy to give that a try as well.
Also, love the double entendre in the name, now make a liquid version, FFS! :)
This product has a great natural scent, not too overpowering. It keeps my beard soft and keeps my skin from drying out.4
