Once upon a time boutonnieres were de rigueur, but these days you don’t see many beyond high school prom. Perhaps it’s because purchasing (or plucking) a flower before an evening out feels a little odd. Instead, opt for one of these fabric lapel flowers. Meant for everyday use as well as special occasions, these made-in-New York accessories run the gamut from small and subtle to look-at-me loud.
I've seen these fabric flower lapels getting popular at formal events, so I was very disappointed in the poor quality of this product. For the price, I'd expect something with clean cuts and folds...not layers of crudely cut circles pasted together and tons of thread clippings.1
While nice, this one just really wasn't for me. I can't think of too many times I could use this, but might give it a shot as a trial run.1
Unfortunately, this just isn't my type of product. I'm not much of a lapel pin guy, but the product was well-made.1
The lapel could use a different fabric/material to make it stand out more. I tried to give it volume and it looked almost like a gun shot wound.1
I am using this as a book mark, but will never use this what it is for - not for me.1
this is the most disappointing thing I have received from birchbox... I absolutely do not understand what they were thinking. I don't know any man who would use this. Just stupid1
This seems like a great idea, but maybe just a little too feminine for me. My fiance however loved it, so I'll probably wear it a time or two - ha.2
fun product that will definitely dress down a sport coat/suit, but too casual for me.2
Not really my thing. Personally can't wear this with a suit , though it'd be great for the casual/artsy type.2
I rarely have the occasion to wear a suit so was disappointed to get this, less because of what it is, and more because I won't use it. Definitely would add a dash of whimsy to a traditional suit but the color of my sample would necessitate a matchy-matchy tie so still just a smaller subset of already rare suit-wearing occasions. A little too dandy-ish for me. Overall not my thing.2
