Once upon a time boutonnieres were de rigueur, but these days you don’t see many beyond high school prom. Perhaps it’s because purchasing (or plucking) a flower before an evening out feels a little odd. Instead, opt for one of these fabric lapel flowers. Meant for everyday use as well as special occasions, these made-in-New York accessories run the gamut from small and subtle to look-at-me loud.
Fun little lapel pin. I received the yellow version. I can't see myself wearing it all too often though since it's not subtle enough for business occasions, and I don't wear suits very frequently for casual occasions.3
I think the lapel/flower is a great compliment to the suit. It tones down the seriousness that a suit could bring. I feel very casual with a touch of old school class. only downside is it is $26. Seems a little steep. But I love the accessory.5
The lapel could use a different fabric/material to make it stand out more. I tried to give it volume and it looked almost like a gun shot wound.1
Some may like this lapel, but I do not think I would ever wear it.
I don't every wear lapels, and t's not very masculine. Maybe I'm missing out on not being stylish, but I'm passing on this one.
I rarely have the occasion to wear a suit so was disappointed to get this, less because of what it is, and more because I won't use it. Definitely would add a dash of whimsy to a traditional suit but the color of my sample would necessitate a matchy-matchy tie so still just a smaller subset of already rare suit-wearing occasions. A little too dandy-ish for me. Overall not my thing.2
I would not have purchased this product if I had seen it on the website; however, I added it to my suit last week and my daughters loved it. They thought it was fun.
I'll do anything to bring a smile to their faces.
Can't say I'm impressed with this lapel. Seems a bit rough around the edges. Good idea, poor execution.2
This is an interesting accessory that one may use from time to time.3
Cool idea, Just wish you could choose the sample color.
I can't really try it on until I get a matching tie.
but, I can't wait.
This lapel is amazing. I get so many compliments on a daily basis on how it sets me apart, and has even gotten me recognized by a few upper-management folks for its uniqueness5
