Once upon a time boutonnieres were de rigueur, but these days you don’t see many beyond high school prom. Perhaps it’s because purchasing (or plucking) a flower before an evening out feels a little odd. Instead, opt for one of these fabric lapel flowers. Meant for everyday use as well as special occasions, these made-in-New York accessories run the gamut from small and subtle to look-at-me loud.
I must confess that I would never pick this out for myself but it does add a flair of color to just the right suit.
The product is fine just not my style. Looked nice on my dogs collar.
It would add a nice touch to a suit. Seems well placed on the lapel button. Definitely requires a sense of humor to wear.
I didn't expect to like this item, but it adds a bit of fun and whimsy to a gray suit. I won't use it too often, but on an occasion it's a nice touch.
I'd need to buy a suit jacket to wear this and probably wouldn't anyway.
But...cute? Good idea for a pop of color?
The lapel flower isn't a bad move, it's just not my move. Coupled that with the fact that my flower had some bent petals and look a little weak, I'm thinking it's a little more flimsy than whimsy.
I wasn't expecting to like this item, but I can see myself using the red one with a light grey suit. Not for everyone, but not a bad touch if you want to give your suit a dash of whimsy.
Sometimes it's in the details. This lapel pin is smart and fashionable without being overly feminine or flashy. Thanks Birchbox!
What a nice, understated way to add a little jazz to a suit, or sport coat. I plan to use this accessory the next time I have the occasion to dress up.
Don't get me wrong, I love this lapel pin but seriously, $24-$30??? Nonetheless, great addition to add a pop of color to ones ensemble.
