Old Spice is the granddaddy of deodorants, and chances are your very own grandpa used the stuff way back in his skirt-chasing days. So it’s no surprise that their bar soap is a top-quality product through and through. Infused with the classically refreshing Pure Sport scent, this shower ledge staple gets your skin squeaky clean the old-school way.
I love Old Spice branding. Their commercials are great, and it's really cool what they did with an iconic but long-stodgy American brand. This soap is good but nothing special. Basically what you would expect.4
Great scent, though washes off like soap. I wish this scent came in a body wash. Otherwise, a great product from a good company.4
I was pretty excited about using it yet ultimately was disappointed. It was just a "fine" soap and I had been expecting and hoping for a stronger, longer-lasting scent. If I want a cheap bar soap, I'll stick with Irish Spring or for something pricier (and worth it) Molton Brown body wash. For those looking for a subtler scent, this may be for you.3
This stuff reminded me of being a little kid and going to visit grandpa and for that alone I love it. Definitely buying more.5
What's better than a traditional scent from an old standby? I feel like Old Spice has spiced-up (harrrr.) their game in the last four years but despite a new marketing ploy, etc., they haven't lost their core - good smelling, clean-getting stuff. I use Old Spice body wash and am happy to have the soap with it.4
This is soap. It feels like soap, tastes like soap, but, unfortunately, does not make you smell like you used soap. It is not good when you think you're clean, but need to wash yourself again to get the stink of the very soap you used earlier...2
Love the scent, but leaves a strange film on my skin after using - similar to a bad hotel soap. Great sample size, though.3
This works as it should. I like the way it smells, it lasts a long time. The price is a little high for a single bar of soap, so I would probably look elsewhere.4
We've all seen old spice products on the shelves at stores. Most of us have probably tried them too. I don't think such a mainstream brand belongs in the Birchbox. I'd like to discover lesser known products. That's why I got the box.3
This bar smells good and leaves you feeling fresh. I generally use body wash so probably wouldnt purchase although it is a good bar if you dont use body wash.4
