When your dad taught you how to shave with that razor he’d removed the blades from, he was hoping that you’d grow up to use a shaving cream like this. This classic softens and lifts beard hairs, while simultaneously soothing and moisturizing your skin. Add some Sandalwood aromatherapy to the mix, and you’ve got something that is pops-approved.
This is a fine introduction to shave creams for most men. Having sampled more than a few I will say this is rated just above the ones found in the supermarket. While this goes on smooth it does not hydrate the face while shaving. I have a safety razor and it takes me a couple more minutes to shave. In that time the last part of my face was drier than the start. This would be great if it had hydrated a bit more.3
One of the better shaving creams I have tried. I'm a sucker for scented creams and would of loved to try the sandalwood version.4
I've been using the Art of Shaving, shaving cream for over a year now. Great lather, easy rinse, and always a close shave. I would highly recommend it!5
Until recently, I've been using Art of Shaving Lavender shaving cream for years. It lathers really well and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend it especially for sensitive skin. Art of Shaving has a few different "sample" package types ranging from cheap cardboard one-and-done to multi-use dispensers. This particular box inclusion was a travel size tube and will last a long time sitting in my work/travel Dopp kit. Great value from a great brand.5
I was converted to wet shaving a few years ago and I've never looked back. It takes a little more time but the results are immediately noticeable. I really enjoy using Art of Shaving products and I recommend this one.5
When it comes to The Art of Shaving, I'm generally a happy guy as most of their products are top shelf, but this particular shaving cream, in my opinion, is not one of their better products. It is fairly smooth and easy on the skin, but the "unscentedness" of it is anything but. It smells of cocoa butter and a little bit of chocolate, an odd combination, I know, which is exactly why I'm not a fan... other than that one complaint, the cream works great. Were it scented or anything else, I would've given this 4 or 5 stars.3
I have tried countless shaving creams, oils, soaps... this is the best so far! I love the texture and the smell.5
Had never tried THE ART OF SHAVING's shaving cream until I got it in by Box. It makes for the best shave out there!! Extreme close shave, soft skin after, and no ingrowns. The best stuff in the market.5
I don't understand the rave reviews of this one.
This product is simply average. I'd place it above drug store offerings, but nowhere near the same class as other premium brands.
There are much better options for the price.
you only need a small dime size dab and it goes a long way. great to use with the art of shaving oil. it will leave your skin feeling soft and give you a close shave.5
