When your dad taught you how to shave with that razor he’d removed the blades from, he was hoping that you’d grow up to use a shaving cream like this. This classic softens and lifts beard hairs, while simultaneously soothing and moisturizing your skin. Add some Sandalwood aromatherapy to the mix, and you’ve got something that is pops-approved.
I have very sensitive skin, prone to nicks and razor burn...this helps to prevent both very well!5
The art of shaving is truly amazing! I love the product and it leaves the face smooth and refreshed. CLOSE SHAVE!!5
Nice clean shave... Mild fragrance. doesnt have any left over oils that cause breakouts or ingrown hairs.5
for a company that devoted to shaving cream, they do it best. i have never found a product that feels smoother and softer than The Art.5
I have the entire ensemble for the Art of Shaving. It has greatly helped my skin (especially razor burn on my neck). I was a skeptic at first, but now I use it religiously.5
I have been using the entire art of shaving line for about 2 years now and it is awesome! Really helped with ravor burn along my neck.5
I've been using The Art of Shaving products for years, and the only cream I've come across that I like better (or at least has equal quality for less price) is the Proraso brand also sold on this site. You are certainly paying a premium for the name, thanks to some rather excellent marketing, but it's a solid product. I would, however, recommend a scent that you like. Unscented is... boring.5
This shaving cream is the winner of the June box. The shaving cream creates a very slippery surface on your face while softening your facial hair to make it easier to cut. It also takes a very small amount of product to shave with so the price is pretty good. I have been looking for a good shave cream and this is it, thanks Birchbox! One note, the "unscented" version does have a bit of a smoky cork board smell to it, it's actually kind of nice but I would not call it unscented.5
I really like this shaving cream, particularly if used with a badger shaving brush. Without this brush, it's actually a pretty average shaving brush, but otherwise its superb. I wasn't that thrilled with the unscented version.5
Art of Shaving products always remind me of old men, and the smell now does too. Nothing spectacular about the shaving cream but it wasn't bad either. Not worth the price for me as I can get the same shave with something less expensive.5
