What happens when you put an offbeat spin on a timeless piece of headgear? The answer, good sir, is nothing short of magic. This ball cap honors the classics with its rugged wool construction, while a tongue-in-cheek logo keeps the mood light. Whether you’re a star at weekend softball, or a suit in search of a statement piece, this versatile accessory is sure to deliver.
If you like having a hat that is unique and stand out, but is conservative at the same time then this is the hat for you. Of course it's a bit bold to wear at hat that expressed who you'd like to be addressed but that's what some of us like. And who can't use a high quality wool hat. The breath so well that it can be a year-round staple for your wardrobe.5
Three Point review:
1) The cut/quality on the hat isn't the greatest. It poofs out around the brim which makes it look funny compared to other baseball caps.
2) I don't understand the point of a "dressed up" ball cap. If you want to look more fashion forward there are much better hat styles out there. I have other hats I prefer much more than this.
3) The design and logo on it are just stupid. The "MR." makes it look like a hat they would make a groom wear at a couples bridle shower.
my boyfriend received this hat in his February box. He was skeptical at first and didn't know what to think of the "Mr.".. but after inspecting the quality of the material and trying it on, he was sold! It definitely has a retro look and feel to it but he pulls it off and is really pleased with it!5
I loved the feel and look of the hat. The only negative is "Mr.". It seems novelty for a honeymoon or something. But it does make for a conversantion starter4
This is a great ball cap that's absolutely ruined by the MR. embroidery on the front. If it were plain, or had "The Knottery" logo on it, the cap would be fine. MR. looks like something a groom wears to his bachelor party.
I'm disappointed there isn't a non-embroidered option.
It's a very nice hat. I love the attention-getter initials and was very excited to get the hat. I usually only wear an Ivy cap, but this one is cool enough to pair with nice clothes. However, I'm disappointed that the monogram is not actually stitched, but just a sew-on. It makes it less appealing. Knottery is high quality brand, so just sewing on a cut-out seems off to me.3
This is a nice wool cap. My only problem with it is the "Mr." I'll be taking that off and sewing on my own patch.4
I wasnt sure how well I was going to like the hat if I got it. Well I got it and am disappointed.
First off, the texture is great, suuuper soft. Well thats where it ends.... It is a terrible hat because it isnt a nice form fitting hat, the strap is leather but cheaply attached, it looks cheaply attached too. the MR. on it just screams "where is the MRS's. just take it back BB
From what I can tell thus far, it's a well constructed hat. I'm not a huge baseball hat fan. But this classes it up a little with the materials and simplicity.3
My boyfriend wears hats every single day, but this is definitely not one he would wear. Why would someone wear a hat with the word Mr. on it? I'm definitely not a fan either.1
