Citrus scents are impossibly fresh, but they also have a habit of going missing after a few hours. Until now, that is. This concentrated, distinctive blend lasts much longer than traditional citrus scents. Orange Sanguine is meant to recreate a moment in time, and mimics the blissful feeling of sitting on an oceanfront terrace, with groves of orange trees off in the distance. The joyful scent has top notes of blood orange and bitter orange, a middle transition with jasmine and geranium, and a base of amber woods, tonka beans, and sandalwood.
I've traditionally worn florals, and have always shied away from fruit-based perfumes because they can be very overwhelming and candy-like. This one is so different.
The orange isn't too much and it's supported by the sensuous earthy notes between the jasmine and sandalwood. This is a nice difference, and has been well received by friends and boyfriend!
There's something about citrus that makes your day lighter and brighter: This scent embodies it! I tend to wear such scents in warm weather, but honestly, I think this is an excellent winter scent. I felt transported to Provence!5
I love this fragrance. Enough that I purchased the sampler that includes the vanilla (I have committment issues with fragrances). The smell is light and addictive. The orange is there, but there are many other warm notes that I can't describe. I should mention that absolutely no perfume has ever smelled the same on me by the end of the day. I have some weird body chemistry and I have a million fragrances that I don't ever wear because I wasn't patient enough to simply sample them. I have had this on a couple of days and I still like it. I wish I would have been more patient with the Harvey Price Yogini. Bought the full size and never wear it. This one, however, is a keeper! If you have trouble with finding a scent that works with your chemistry, this might be IT!5
This is absolutely, hands-down one of my favorite scents! I think that Altier is amazing as a line of fragrances. I have other fragrances that I wear - from other brands, but I keep gravitating back to this one and the Altier cedar. This is a very fresh, bright citrus scent without being too overbearing. It's got a very fresh orange smell that is just delicious and clean. This is my go-to weekend scent. I also read where someone recommended layering this with their vanilla. YUM! I'll be ordering more of this!5
I keep this Atelier Orange Sanguine in my ourse makeup bag and use it right before going into work. Since I am in customer service, my typical client is usually someone with a complaint...yet no matter how mad they are, they always ask me what perfume I am wearing!! I reccomend them straight to BB.com!! Also, a couple sprits in the morning go a long way...leavin me feeling fresh, crsip, citusy all day long!!!5
I love this stuff. This was my choice from the Birchbox scent sampler. Others are commenting that it is "summery", but I disagree. Orange feels more holiday or early winter to me.5
This is a very clean scent it's my favorite of the Atelier collection ,they're are all good ,but get most complements on this scent5
I absolutely love this perfume. It smells like oranges and has a clean fresh scent. I feel like I am walking in an orange grove. It stays on all day. It is expensive....but I guess with it's staying power it may be worth it. I recently read that orange scents can help with season affective disorder. I can say when I wear it I sniff it frequently and do feel happier.5
I bought this at Sephora a few months back. It smells so pretty! I love the scent of fresh oranges. This smells great but goes on very light. Sadly the scent doesn't last long at all. If it was stronger and lasted longer I would give it 5 stars.3
I've been in love with this perfume since my sample a year ago. I finally bought the full size and it's even better in spray than the sample bottle. So orangy and crisp, love it! Would pay the $65 again for the bottle.5
