When you carry your favorite fragrance in your weekend bag, it doesn’t matter how disappointing your hotel room turns out to be—it can still hold a candle to home. Housed in a portable apothecary jar, this travel-sized soy wax candle brings the comforting aroma of fig and cypress to your suite—or windowless “Deluxe Double” as it may be—to place the familiarity of home base front of mind.
The candle smells pretty good. I'm not sure that I would pay $30 for another one, but that's just me.4
I didn't hate the product, as it is a nice concept - take a smallish candle wherever you go and it reminds you of home! Great idea. The only problem is that the candle is a little subtle for my tastes. I have to be about six inches from the thing to smell it. When I can smell it, it's nice - a little like cologne, but again, subtle.2
this candle smells nice and is very convenient in taking with you places when traveling5
I use it in the dorm all the time! Whether it's for the ladies or some bro chill sessions. It's awesome!4
My girlfriend loves candles so when we opened the box to see this, she was the first to be excited. But I ended up loving the scent as well! As I travel for work all the time, I think this would be just the ticket for making hotel rooms feel a little bit more like home5
Nice product but not for me. I do my traveling with my wife and every once in a while she'll light a candle or freebreeze the room. Usually this is not an issue with the types of places that we stay at where we need to cover up the smell. Maybe this will be more of my home office candle.4
What a treat! I lit this candle in my bedroom last night, and relaxed to the soothing smell of this amazing candle. When i woke up, I could still smell it.4
This was a nice scent. Not heavy and rather manly...Too pricey to purchase, however. But still a lovely sample!3
I don't have much use for this in travel but the scent is nice without being overpowering. Reminds me of cologne but subtle.4
So, honestly, the Cyprus Fig scent is amazing. I'd wear it as a cologne. Absolutely wonderful.
But $30 for a 4oz. candle? I like cool, unique products. I'm even willing to spend decent money on them. But $30 for a candle that size? Not a chance.
Maybe someday the makers will come to their senses. For now, I'll find a scent I like somewhere that knows that 4oz of soy wax isn't worth $7.50/oz no matter how nice it smells.
