We know you love diving into samples as much as we do, and the Mystery Sample Pack gives you the chance to try some of our favorite products. Receive two samples for free by spending $35+ on any full-size products from the shop. It includes one deluxe sample and one standard sample that we’re especially excited about right this minute, and here’s the really fun part: Their identities will remain secret until you receive your order. Alternatively, you can purchase this mysterious sample duo on its own for $10.
I hope no one actually spends money on this. I added this to my order after spending $35+, so I figured I might get a few samples. I wasn't expecting to be amazed by any means. However, what I received was a huge let down and almost a little deceptive. I was expecting to get something valued around $10, instead I got one sample size refresher for clothes (essentially a scented piece of fabric). So glad I did not pay for this or else I would have been even more upset. Some of the things I have received in my Birchbox boggle my mind (pencils, playing cards). I truly hope Birchbox steps up it's game.1
I've gotten this twice when I've spent $35. Don't expect much - but they'll throw in 2 additional samples. Which is a nice bonus. They should just add this into every purchase of $35 or more, but having to add it in is not a big deal. Just don't spend the $10 on it.5
I saw the mixed reviews and thought what the heck - I'll give it a try. I got a pack of cards and sample size Proraso shaving cream. Awesome right? Only issue is that I got the pack of cards in my monthly box before and I use the Proraso shaving cream off and on already.
Why would I need to sample two things that I already have? I would think they could check their database and send me fresh samples instead of making this "bonus" not worth it.
It came with a product I already had, which is good because at least I'll use it. It also came with some tea which was a miss. I can't complain because it was a freebie with all the other products I bought. Tread carefully if you are about to purchase.2
Like all the others that wrote before me the free box was tea and a swizzle stick disguised as a piece of candy. I did get a small bar of exfoliating soap and some Clinique face cream that I wasn't expecting so over all I'd say free was good. Because I'd have been extremely disappointed having thought I'd paid for it.1
So usually I'll get myself the samples but decided this time to lety hubby enjoy them! So unfortunately one the snales exploded thankfully wrapped in a bag and the others were ok! My husband was delighted with the few he got. The power stays are great so is the Schulz & malley face wash.4
I went out on a limb and purchased the box.. It was a letdown. The soap and small sample of face oil was nice. But also got some tea packets, which I thought was random.3
I got a shampoo in my mens mystery box. Smells really good but I expected more in the box! Lol3
I got this with my cologne purchase and was hoping for some useful stuff. What I received was a couple of small packets of tea (she liked them) and a thing of hair pomade; problem is I do not even have hair (and they know that). Any ways, it was free and she got tea so thats a plus right there.3
I was not expecting to receive two teas as a sample. I do not think that is a good mystery sample to receive. It was free so I am not going to complain any more.1
