We know you love diving into samples as much as we do, and the Mystery Sample Pack gives you the chance to try some of our favorite products. Receive two samples for free by spending $35+ on any full-size products from the shop. It includes one deluxe sample and one standard sample that we’re especially excited about right this minute, and here’s the really fun part: Their identities will remain secret until you receive your order. Alternatively, you can purchase this mysterious sample duo on its own for $10.
I hope no one actually spends money on this. I added this to my order after spending $35+, so I figured I might get a few samples. I wasn't expecting to be amazed by any means. However, what I received was a huge let down and almost a little deceptive. I was expecting to get something valued around $10, instead I got one sample size refresher for clothes (essentially a scented piece of fabric). So glad I did not pay for this or else I would have been even more upset. Some of the things I have received in my Birchbox boggle my mind (pencils, playing cards). I truly hope Birchbox steps up it's game.1
I've gotten this twice when I've spent $35. Don't expect much - but they'll throw in 2 additional samples. Which is a nice bonus. They should just add this into every purchase of $35 or more, but having to add it in is not a big deal. Just don't spend the $10 on it.5
But a mystery box is uncertain by its very title! Mine was a bar of soap and a sample of cologne. I'll use the soap, probably not the cologne.4
The Mighty Leaf Tea (3-pack) was really delicious, especially over the cold weekend we just had. I made several cups of tea from 1 bag and enjoyed them each all day long. The face oil was a tease, because it had such promise! My boyfriend used it right after a shower/shave, and his face was crazy-smooth. But a couple days later we noticed minor breakout along his jawline, and while this could have been caused by other factors I think we'll just stick to his usual routine, since he has otherwise perfect skin.3
for $10 i would not buy but getting it for free with a 35$ order is a good deal. I received 2 Samples one wich I enjoyed the other not so much. All in all For free with an order its not bad just dont expect much. If your thinking about buying this id say spend the 10$ elsewhere3
One of the greatest things about Birchbox is the SIZE of their samples....Most places will give you those tiny little "packets." But I just received two samples that would be considered "deluxe size". I received the Ursa Major face wash, Baxter of California facial scrub (something that I purchased in the full size.....definitely worth it!), and then got a pack of loose leaf teas! Very satisfied and happy about these samples! Keep up the great work, Birchbox!!!5
I certainly wouldn't pay 10$ for this separately, but since my purchase was over 35$ I figured id try it. I got a Baxter of California deodorant sample and a body lotion (both of which I really liked). Not a bad surprise since it was free with my purchase!4
I had read some reviews and thought that this would be a flop, I mean its not worth the price but worth it if you spend the 35 bucks or whatever from the bonus shop. I got some fancy teas which are delicious, a deodorant which is natural and manly smelling, and a body lotion which surprisingly i catch myself using quite often.5
I was a little disappointed in this. I purchased it, thinking it would be like the women's mystery sample pack, but there was only a deck of cards.1
Not really a mystery anymore. I think this is probably the 4th time I've received the Plant face oil. You'd think they'd run out eventually...not the case. Please no more! Glad it was a bonus because a little tube of oil and an equally as tiny tube of cream is not worth $10.1
