Don't be fooled by this cologne's opening act of lemon, lime, and bergamot. Its sophisticated scent is the equivalent of a single malt scotch: It grows better—and more complex—with time. And like a good whiskey, the warming base of oak moss and sandalwood can be enjoyed in any season.
I sort of liked the scent but it was very faint and so I couldn't really tell if I liked it or not. From what I did smell, I'm not sure if it is manly enough of a scent for me.2
Was nice but didn't smell good to me. For my yaste2
Scent was not overbearing, but it is a little too fruity for me. It'd probably be okay for most but I prefer something with a little more musk.2
I am not that big of a cologne guy...I found one that I really like and I stick with that...so this might not help you if you're deciding on this one.
It's a fruity scent, not my thing.
The tag line of lemon, lime and bergamot would have been nice. All I got was wood and pepper, nothing in the citrus family at all. Maybe a different sample was sent, but this stuff was nothing like how they describe it.2
This smells like any other scent I could find at your average department store fragrance counter. It isn't that this smells bad, but in my head it is completely forgettable. I own many, many fragrances so for me I would have no reason to purchase this fragrance as it did not blow me away.2
I wish birchbox would stop sending me english laundry. I don't like any of them.2
To be fair i shop at a boutique that scents their clothes similarly. But to me this was just soap smelling.2
I find all the English Laundry range to be too sweet. On the plus side it last quite a while. If your into sweet scent its not so bad.2
Nice herbaceous aroma. The arrogant seemed to be the winner with everyone.3
