You’re a mountain man: You prefer scaling cliffs to the treadmill, and have never heard of spin class. Scrub down with this brawny bar, which contains a slew of hydrating oils like olive, coconut, hemp, and soybean, all blended into a shea butter base. Deeply cleansing and never drying, this soap will leave you smelling as fresh as a forest—and feeling like you could chop wood with your bare hands.
It works as well a you'd expect a soap to work. Smells ok.3
this a very manly soap. it has a forestry smell and a rough texture. The texture although good can be a little too rough and can cut the skin.4
I'm a super picky person when it comes to my own products. I'll try new products, but will I USE them day-to-day? Never. I find what I love and I stick to it.
Birchbox allows me to find what I love. I LOVE these soaps. My man got the pine one in his Box this month, and Ive fallen in love with it and bought some more for myself.
It smells amazing. Go do yourself a favor and buy some. Its $6. really.
I like the smell of it , plan to take it with me on a trip5
This is one step down from what Chuck Norris uses. The exfoliating grit on this stuff is STRONG, its almost like using a rusty metal brillo pad while someone shoves freshly cut pine needles in your nose....I loved it.4
This stuff is great. It smells like a pine tree. It has flakes of bark(I think) in the soap itself. I can use it as a back scratcher and cleaner in one convenient package. This would definitely not be for everyone, but I am very glad to have received this sample, and (when they get it back in stock) I will be procuring this product.5
Just an all around great soap. I use it for shaving and as a face wash, good smell and happy to see it on Birchbox!5
This stuff smells amazing. I leave it in my room because it makes my entire room smell great5
The best part of this soap is the rad Sasquatch pictures on the label. Initially the grains of oatmeal embedded into the bar exfoliated in the same way that a plow exfoliates a field. They got a little softer as time went on but I would not recommend dragging it across any tender areas.
There isn't much of a fragrance to speak of but it does leave a pretty solid clean feeling after use.
The editor's note on this product was to use a loufa to extend its life, which would eliminate the scrub element of the soap. It goes pretty quick, for the price.
While I enjoyed how this soap smelled, it sort of overdoes it on the exfoliation and actually kind of hurt. It's also incredibly slippery in the shower.2
