You’re a mountain man: You prefer cannonballs off cliffs to the treadmill in the gym, and you don’t even know what spin class is. But just because you like to chop wood doesn’t mean you have to smell like you’ve been living in the woods. Scrub down with this man-size bar, which smells like the outdoors and is formulated from all-natural ingredients that clean without drying out your skin.
I used this soap on a camping trip. I think it did a great job of cleaning. Had a nice sent to it however if you touch the soap and then touch a towel or something light in color it leaves a black residue on it. This was not a great thing!3
Never heard of the brand before but wow. Nicely done. If I spotted it again I would purchase it with out hesitation.4
I was not expecting this to be such a great find. I really enjoy exfoliation and don't find too many bar soaps that can scrub without using a loofah with it. I will say, the black tar sample was a little off-putting because of the dye that they use to get the soap black. It will run throughout your shower if you're not clean about it. Other than that the smell and feel was awesome. And for the price it's a great steal.5
I love natural soaps! I received Pine Tar. Would like to try Eucalyptus & Rum. The black color is masculine a must have for men.5
Really loved the smell of this soap. Cleans well and good lather. Also is well-priced, so I would definitely buy it next time I need soap.5
I am in love with the Dr. Squatch Bar Soap pine tar soap. I was afraid it would smell too much like pinesol or one of those little trees you see hanging from people's car mirrors, but this soap has an amazing pine smell that is a pleasure to inhale. I primarily use this for a handwash soap and find it to be most effective at cleaning the digits. It almost seems like a joke soap when lathering up, because it comes off black on the hands, but it rinses clean and leaves that delicious pine smell. What an amazing soap.5
Weird but seemingly effective. However, purchasing soap is so odd online, when shipping and handling costs nearly as much as the product. Always leads me to the craft, local business soap makers.3
I don't usually go for bar soap, but it was a good change from the norm. I've used black soap before and while I like it, I always need to buy a loofah that's black so it doesn't stain.5
I did not like the abrasiveness of this soap. I liked the smell though. I was not a fan of the color either. Just could not get a clean feeling when washing with a black, gritty soap.3
I wanted to love this sample so much...I really did. I just couldn't though. Never been a fan of bars of soap and this one is no different. Smells fantastic but the scent doesn't stick to your body that long. Also this bar is pretty rough. After a couple scrubs it starts to irritate my skin.3
