Think of Ministry of Supply as the Q to your James Bond. They’ve invented a T-shirt that looks like an ordinary T-shirt, but is actually the result of high-tech experimentation, including thermal imaging and photogrammetric strain tests. We can’t promise it’ll take photos on the sly or make you invisible, but it will keep you cool, calm, and collected. Don't know your size? Check out our Sizing Guide.
Let me start off by saying I am a big fan of plain shirts. The V is a bit low for my tastes but I'm not a fan of deep V's so it will work for most guys and the fit is a bit bigger than some other shirts but is still a bit form fitting. What sets this shirt apart is the feel, it has a very different texture than most shirts that keeps you cool and vented while keeping you looking stylish. The fit isn't 100% what some would like (if you like a very tight fit) but it still fits and feels great, one of my favorite shirts already.4
it is a good shirt. Product is smooth with good finish3
When I first saw the price for this shirt, I thought "there's no way an undershirt would be worth spending more than $10 on", but I have to say I was beyond impressed. The material is breathable, comfortable, and durable, and somehow it can be invisible under a dress shirt, yet double as a regular v-neck shirt that's not at all transparent, even in white. I'm definitely going to pick up a few for my wardrobe.4
I tried the T shirt on one of my heavy work days. I perspire a lot and the shirt did not wick as well as I had hoped it would. The fabric was heavier than I had hoped, and the stretch was not as flexible as I had anticipated.4
I got the shirt and took it biking on a long run up the west side of Manhattan. Very comfortable, worked great with wicking away sweat, much better than anything else I am using. Really fascinated by the company and fabric technology, I visited their site and was surprised to learn their main product line is dress shirts with similar technology. The designs look great, very interested in how the fabric technology works in this category, am going to order and white dress shirt next.5
This shirt is so soft! My wife loves it! Also, it breathes very well.4
This shirt is extremely soft and comfy. It is designed really well!5
I think this shirt is well-constructed and it feels like a high-quality product. I got a size L, and it sort of fits right.
Size (Note that I am 6'2", 210lbs, 32" waist, 46" chest): The arms and waist are tight, but it feels loose through the chest compared to typical size L undershirts (although I haven't washed it yet, so it could shrink a little). It is pretty much the exact length I'd want out of an undershirt. The "V" is a bit deeper than I typically prefer.
Verdict: I would not buy this shirt. It costs close to $40. Seriously, $38 for an undershirt. NO ONE SEES YOUR UNDERSHIRT! Think about it, if you like to keep 2 weeks worth of undershirts, so it would cost $532 (plus tax) to replace your stable. That is absolutely absurd.
It is a tighter fitting shirt, loved the soft cool material.4
I wasn't expecting much from this shirt at all when I saw it in my box, but I fell in love with it after wearing it for a day. It's incredibly comfortable and well-tailored, much more so than my usual j-crew v-necks, and the temperature regulation is awesome. I'm definitely going to be buying a couple more of these and will surely look into the other products available, too.5
