It’s the 21st century, baby: we’ve got flying cars, super-powered phones, and a crazy thing called Snapchat, so why limit art to your living room wall? Designed by New York artist Shelter Serra, this curious accessory takes the prevailing notions of watches and bracelets, and flips them on their heads. Perfect for the daring tastemaker, or those who thrive on the unexpected.
I really don't understand the use of this thing. I wore it as a joke when I first got it and it didn't last the day before it was made fun of and ultimately snapped off.1
The quality on the construction is good, but it is just a fake outline of a really expensive watch. To me the thought of putting a faux watch on my wrist is counter intuitive. If I want a watch or any jewelry I will put the real item not a fake.1
The rubber is a good quality, but definitely not worth the price. Would recommend getting a real watch for this price.1
I love you guys at Birchbox, but this was just a ridiculous item. No, absolutely not a good thing to even carry at all. I hope you got rid of all of these awful things by sending them to customers because that's the only way you'll eve get rid of this.1
i know im not alone here from reading the other reviews, but i cant be too harsh, it is a nice concept it could have worked really well, but it was just executed really badly, the materials seem really cheap and it sort of looks like a kids toy to go along with a fake mobile phone.
when i first spotted it in the Birchbox i immediately thought "Awesome Birchbox put a watch in" then i read the card and was just disappointed.
i would never in a million years pay $40 for this maybe $2.50, its ridiculously overpriced.
usually Birchbox gets everything spot on in the boxes but they really missed the mark with this item.
Worst item to ever come in a monthly box. Such a let down for the December box and the final box of the year.
I think I saw something like this at the Dollar Store once.
When you really want to show you have too much money. The product is poorly manufactured and reads more as a protective watch case rather than a bracelet. This would make a great deal more sense. I have not been able to even give this away.1
This is not a good product at all! It broke right when I took it out of the box. I do not think it looks like a rolex and I don't think it is a good product.1
Don't get it. looks stupid. wouldn't give this to anyone. straight to the trash for this weird product. seriously who thought this was a good idea?1
Who would wear this? And why would they wear it? I love Birchbox, but this really missed the mark. I can see I am not alone from the other reviews.1
