This sleek zinc keychain could probably get by on looks alone, but don't be surprised if you find yourself touting its more practical charms. Besides doubling as a handy stylus for any touchscreen, the special clamping mechanism also connects sturdily and safely to the side of your smartphone to serve as a stand—so you can keep your hands free and your business in sight.
I hate to write bad reviews, but this one is warranted. I am upset I paid for this thing. My major issue is that the stylus barely (if at all!) works. I have tried to use it on my iPhone and my iPad. If I press using the tip of the stylus, nothing reads on my devices. I have spent so much time trying to make it work, I figured out I could only get it to work if I awkwardly used the side of it....which is ineffective. I also couldn't get the kickstand part of it to hold my iPhone 6 up, so I ultimately threw it away.1
I really liked the idea of this stylus. However, attaching it to my keychain, and carrying it around in my pocket let to its quick demise.2
I purchased this thinking about how nice it would be. Don't believe it. My experience was that is will hold up your phone, you just can't touch it. I thought it would be great for surfing and playing games, but it is not.1
I gave this to my most technically advanced friend as a stocking stuffer and I don't think she has taken it off her phone yet... except when she is using the stylus to draw on her snapchats!4
I ended up giving this away, to a teenage who also never used it. When I first received it I thought it was novel enough, but didn't care for the keychain/ stylus/ stand design. I don't know why I would need a stand for an iPhone, don't know when I would pull out a stylus instead of using my finger, and didn't care to add another piece of bulk to my keychain.2
I think they're all pretty handy. Clever and fun little trinkets for the office. They're at HomeGoods and TJMaxx and I paid 4.99 for this stylus. Sorry Birchy., your markup is a little much4
This is a decent product. There are other like this that I believe are more useful. The stylus is nice during the winter months when you are wearing gloves.
was a little perplexed with what this was in my birch box but realized its usefulness immediately. i use this all the time in the studio and am able to check my phone without having to put down what I'm working on.4
I would not pay that price for this, but I do think it's useful. After almost giving up on it because of its wobble-ness, I realized it was better if you attach the device to the top center of your phone. It can stand horizontal and vertical with no trouble.
Keychain isn't the most practical of features and the stylus is just a bonus.
Really 27 dollars for this. Ugh. Glad mine was free. Tried to use it but really just a waste of space and materials.1
