Ernest Hemingway, exemplar of all things craggy and masculine, was the inspiration for this complex fragrance—but don’t expect notes of rum and tobacco. This is a cultured fragrance for a cultured man. Papa would approve.
I am not into sweet smells.
I prefer something more woody.
This stuff grows on you. It's got a unique scent that ladies appear to love!5
I don't generally wear cologne all that often, but this fragrance has me hooked. Juniper and bergamot are subtle and balanced against the orange and vanilla; this is a scent with purpose. Pairs well with scotch.5
I usually buy my cologne at Macys, have been doing that for years. After starting this BirchBox Monthly, has opened my eyes to new products. This although was not exactly me, I would probably use it again.4
great sent, definitely will use in the future. Wife loved it and thats all that matters. however the sample size was rather small.5
This is a very nice scent. It is not over-powering nor to adolescent like quite a few colognes these days.5
Love it. Clean fresh crisp lasted all day long. Pricey though5
This was just not a fragrance that I had enjoyed whatsoever. My girlfriend agreed and had even likened the scent to the smell of her childhood hamster's cage. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because we both agreed that it did smell slightly better after settling in. Seeing the price tag blew me away also...2
The cologne was not my traditional cologne I would wear every day, but a great Change of pace cologne for me.4
Tried this out from a sample I got in a box and I really dig it. The scent is rich, warm, sweet, and mellow. I feel great when I walk out of the house wearing this scent and the scent lasts pretty well throughout a typical 8 hour day. My only complaint is that it gave me a bit of a headache on my drive to school, but I would expect it with a rich cologne like this.4
