Ernest Hemingway, exemplar of all things craggy and masculine, was the inspiration for this complex fragrance—but don’t expect notes of rum and tobacco. This is a cultured fragrance for a cultured man. Papa would approve.
I am in love with this sample.
I did notice some specific notes in the fragrance but that is one of the things that I especially like about it.
From the first time I wore this I received compliments on it.5
This cologne was ok. It just really wasn't my kind of smelling taste. I have a couple of others I prefer.3
It's okay...but not distinctive enough to warrant the price.3
It had a good smell too it and wasn't over powerful. One spray lasted all day and I had several compliments on how well it smelled.5
This one has a great scent without being overpowering. I would definitely consider going with the full size bottle of this.4
Solid smell, lingers for the entire day, so that is a plus!! Little pricey but I would consider for the future4
As someone who doesn't normally wear any fragrance, this was a breath of fresh...air? It is balanced and complex, with the added benefit of being well-received by friends.5
I am particular about the cologne I wear. I usually prefer scents that are sandalwood in nature, but I hate if they are too overpowering. This cologne has a sophisticated, masculine, earthy scent that I love.5
On first sniff I didn't think I would like it but I wore it for the day and it grew on me. I don't think it would be an everyday smell for me but it's nice for an occasional change.4
