Ernest Hemingway, exemplar of all things craggy and masculine, was the inspiration for this complex fragrance—but don’t expect notes of rum and tobacco. Featuring top notes of Italian bergamot, juniper, and black pepper, a heart of orange blossom, Florentine iris, and cinnamon, and a base of vetiver, vanilla, and yellow amber, this is a cultured cologne for a cultured man. Papa would approve.
A different scent .. Will give it a chance.. First impression.. Not for me .. But will try again later on..4
For $125 I'd expect a much more vibrant and distinct scent. This is all musk and nothing interesting or evolving over time. Just bad all day.2
It's a great scent that is sweet, but very masculine at the same time. I love the strong tobacco with the amber undertones. Possibly a new go-to fragrance for me.5
This is a great scent and perfect for fall. I typically prefer scents with heavy spice and woodsy notes, but this does a great job of incorporating bergamot and vanilla into my typical scent profile. I love it.5
It smelled ok but isn't really something that I would wear.4
It smells grear. So far all the cologne birchbox sends me I love. My gf loves the smell of it and it last pretty much all day.5
This stuff is your typical Birchbox sample. A quality cologne in a decent sized sample. I'd buy this stuff.5
This fragrance wad a favorite sample of 48 yr old man, his wife, and 19 year old son. Wish the sample was bigger. Great scent.5
I think it is overpriced, I can't see paying that much for something that doesn't wow me.3
It's a nice smelling cologne, it's just a little too sweet for my taste.3
