Ernest Hemingway, exemplar of all things craggy and masculine, was the inspiration for this complex fragrance—but don’t expect notes of rum and tobacco. This is a cultured fragrance for a cultured man. Papa would approve.
A fantastic scent. Masculine but mellow, with some vanilla subtlety to it that give it a refined quality. Wish the full-sized bottle wasn't $125 but I'm still considering buying it because it is that good.5
My wife likes the fragrance, for me that is enough to wear it.
This is not something i would buy on my own.
The scent of this reminded me a lot of a high school gym locker - Scent is a really difficult thing to review, and I don't have a good enough nose to pick out all the different aspects.
All in all, not a fan.
I love this sent. It's not overly powerful and last a long time.5
I really love the smell of this cologne, it is subtle, yet the scent lasts through the day. I received so many compliments. Thinking of buying the full size.5
Loved this scent. Very masculine, but not overpowering. My wife was absolutely in love with it. It was a big hit in our house.5
I like the scent. I however don't like the full price cost. Which is double what I would normally spend.
I've never purchased any scents above what you might find at Target or Walgreens. That being said, this product has a very nice smell that lasts for a long time. I could even smell it after I had taken a shower the next day. I don't find it overpowering, but it is definitely noticeable.5
This cologne represents what I think most people associate with a masculine sent. Very rich woody tones. Not a light or refreshing sent, very deep. So for a more rustic sent, this is recommended.4
I liked this. It's unlike my normal scents. But it's a nice smell and will probably find its way into my collection.5
