Ernest Hemingway, exemplar of all things craggy and masculine, was the inspiration for this complex fragrance—but don’t expect notes of rum and tobacco. Featuring top notes of Italian bergamot, juniper, and black pepper, a heart of orange blossom, Florentine iris, and cinnamon, and a base of vetiver, vanilla, and yellow amber, this is a cultured cologne for a cultured man. Papa would approve.
I love this scent. Without question I plan to purchase the full sized bottle. It's a very unique smell that I feel gives off an almost warm feeling whenever you get a smell5
Not a huge perfume user. The scent is ok and I will use the sample, but it something I would purchase. Love that it has a spritzer.3
I was pleasantly surprised by the smell of this cologne. I go for more subtle aromas when it comes to any type of beauty product and I really like the smell of this cologne. To me it has an herbal smell of gin when mixed with tonic. Very subtle but at the same time you can get a nice aroma that is very pleasant.5
A great cologne that I would have never tried on my own due to price. I like the smell, subdued yet lasting and I have to say this is now on my short list for new cologne to buy a full bottle of.5
Great cologne. Spicy and woodsy but not over powering in either aspect. Very masculine.5
I like this one. I actually like this size sample to. Gives me a chance to test appropriately3
I loved this sample, until I check it out online. $125 is just too much for this product.2
I don't really like the scent but I'm sure it would be great for others3
I love this fragrance. It is long lasting and the notes change as the day goes on. I always get complimented when I wear it. Highly recommend.5
