Old-world Paris was the inspiration for this complex fragrance. Featuring top notes of Italian bergamot, juniper, and black pepper, a heart of orange blossom, Florentine iris, and cinnamon, and a base of vetiver, vanilla, and yellow amber, it’s a cultured cologne for a cultured man.
Love Histoires de Parfums 1899! After using this it is my new favorite. I am a little bit obsessed now. It smells so expensive like GEO Trumper.5
Great scent! It can be used for any occasion, whether casual or formal. It's spicy, sweet, and lasts all day.5
My main problem with most colognes is that they smell too feminine. This cologne was not the worst offender but not exactly my thing.3
While I don't find the fragrance offensive, it's just not for me. I prefer something lighter and on the citrusy side.3
I work in a job where I want to smell masculine but not over do it, this product accomplishes Both for me. Not very strong and smells clean.4
There's no other way to put it, this stuff is the best smelling fragrance I ever sampled. Too bad the sample won't last more than two weeks :)4
I actually like it. I'd buy it. Lasts all day. Classy scent. Thanks Birchbox.5
I think this is the best date fragrance around. Every woman I've been around while wearing this has said something about it. I think it's the hint of pepper...5
The fragrance itself is a unique mixture of spicy, flowery, and classic manly musk. I can see myself being in the mood for this scent on occasion, but not too often3
I love colognes. I like to switch them up frequently. I have not worn this. Opened it to smell and let my wife smell and she told me to throw it away because it smells just like hamster bedding... Would not recommend.3
