As a tribute to Jules Verne, the father of science fiction, this fresh, maritime fragrance is a departure from the norm. Its vivid scent is inspired by the sights and smells of Nantes, the seaside port town where the author was born in 1828. And like Verne’s Around the World in Eighty Days, this is a cologne that’s on the go, evolving from pine-y to peppery—minty to musky.
This product beats errything else in its category. Can't stop. Won't stop. Buy it. Do it.5
The base notes are the reason this smells so good. I would highly recommend.5
This cologne has a sharp smell at the start and finish of the day. It's somewhat like citrus, but also a bit like a sandalwood. You will notice it all day as it sticks around more than most other fragrances I've tried. That's not bad, just know it will still be there when you come home from work or hit the gym in the evening. It's a bit much for me, but for those that like a sharp, long lasting scent, it could be a good choice.4
This just wasn't a good one for me. It's not bad just doesn't really do it for me, you know?3
This was one of my favorite scents that I have sampled from the BB. My girlfriend on the other hand did not actually appreciate it. I loved it.5
I got two samples from this company. One was 1828 and the other was 1899. I liked the 1899 more than this scent (1828) because the 1899 had a cleaner smell than this scent but I would purchase this if it weren't too expensive.5
This was some really good stuff. It's on my list to buy. Bravo.5
This is a light fragrance if you use it sparingly, and has a soft pepper like sent that is unique but classic at the same time. My wife really likes it which, of course, means a top rating.5
I prefer a more clean scent. This was more woodsy. Not bad though. Expensive!4
This smells nice but smells like it was meant for a soap.4
