This matte-finish, high-hold wax from Hanz de Fuko combines the pliability of a pomade with the staying power of a gel. Lightweight and water-soluble, it taps natural plant extracts to add thickness and fullness while allowing you to separate, mold, and sculpt your ’do.
This is a great product to control your wavy and untamed hair in the morning. It leaves your hair with a nice matte finish and not the greasy gelled look.5
This is a very strong Clay. However, when mixed with Baxter's Hard Cream Pomade you can create a perfect mixture of strong hold for long hair with natural finish and a clean, smooth feel5
I usually use a clay wax, but since my hair has gotten longer, I need something light for summer.5
I have tried Hanz de Fuko products such as Sponge Wax, Claymation and Quicksand. This Sponge Wax turns out to be the best product in Baxters line of hair products. it is easy to apply to damp hair and does not have that terrible glue-sticky feel.
Also, Sponge Wax can be washed off easily unlike Claymation and Quicksand which leave my hair feeling waxy even after I shampoo my hair twice. Highly recommend this
This product works well and doesn't leave a sticky residue. Doesn't take much to go a long way. Good control.5
Ive tried a few products from this brand but already use a similar product by crew. I liked the scent of this sponge wax and it had lasting effects without leaving my hair feeling like I had too much product in it.5
This hair is great. It isn't too messy and provides a good hold on the hair. Much better than pomade, I just wish it was cheaper.5
Previously I have enjoyed using the Hanz de Fumo shampoos and conditioners I receive in my Birchbox. The Hanz de Fuko Sponge Wax allowed for more flexibility when styling my hair. I like that it did not flake off towards the end of the day. The hold is nice and pretty weather resistant.5
The wax was lightweight and allowed for strong hold without gumming up my hair. The biggest drawback was that it took more to get a good hold than the small amount advertised.5
Received the sponge wax as a sample. I wasn't sure what it was or how it would hold since I've never used wax before. I typically use pomade or putty when my hair is at its shortest and gel when it gets longer. I tried this product on a whim after my latest haircut and was pleasantly surprised. I rubbed some on my hands, spread it throughout my damp hair and styled it. My hair didn't feel oily or stiff but it held up great and stayed in place throughout the day. A little bit goes a long way.5
