This matte-finish, high-hold wax from Hanz de Fuko combines the pliability of a pomade with the staying power of a gel. Lightweight and water-soluble, it taps natural plant extracts to add thickness and fullness while allowing you to separate, mold, and sculpt your ’do.
This has great hold, not too shiny, and hair feels soft, not weighted down.5
The sample was awesome as I expected. It held very well and molded effectively. Personally I prefer Johnny B over Hanz de Fuko.4
I've used the same product for over 5 years and this stuff has taken over. Absolutely love it! Holds all day and works perfectly wet or dry!5
I really loved this product as it didn't leave my hair greasy or shiny and did hold exceptionally well. My only issue was that I have too much hair and it took a lot of product to make a difference. Will definitely use this again when I have a shorter cut.4
This product did its job and did not leave an oily residue.3
This wax has a great hold. The only problem I had was getting it even in my hair, and that's is probably on me. Otherwise I would use it again4
I was impressed by the hold of this hair wax. Most of the time when I use a product like this, it takes some work to get it evenly distributed in my hair, but this went on easily and held well all day long. The best surprise was the great way it smells!4
I will be buying a full size of this. Great texture and perfect for hair. It isn't too greasy and leaves a nice matte finish.5
It gives a great hold without being too "stiff." Doesn't look like you have a lot of product in your hair also. Will buy again!5
Plain and simple: good hold, matte finish, flexible, doesn't feel like your hair turned into a helmet.
I use my box samples to take on trips, since the size makes them extremely convenient for that, and keeps airport security off your back whenever you decide that you should be able to travel and not look like some sort of phillistine.
This particular one I took to Chicago in February, which as you may know, pretty much requires protection from the biting cold, such as a knitted wool hat (which I wore).
I wore my hat over my hair styled with this wax and it kept its shape when I took the hat off, something that is hard to accomplish in such situations.
