A shower isn't the only solution for flat or greasy hair. Hanz de Fuko's medium-hold product is one part styling wax, one part dry shampoo, using diatomaceous earth (a soft, pumice-like rock) to suck up excess oil while adding both volume and texture.
Wife uses dry shampoo spray. This is a great product to use for my hair on weekends when I don't shower daily. Nice texturizer.3
A nice light weight hold for your hair, works great but does leave a "different" feeling in your hair, but you'll get used to it.5
i tried this hair product for a saturday night outing. The moment i put the product in my hands i felt i was opening a bag of candy. the smell is pretty sweet but the product felt very rough in my hair. The sticky feeling stayed until i washed it out the next morning. Not sure if i will order in the future since the product i use now is much cheaper and it works for me.2
Tia has to be my favorite product in October box. The Hanz de Fuko quicksand helps stile your hair, without adding any shin to your hair. The pumice stone in the balm also helps soak up any excess water or oil, leaving your hair natural and neat. It also smalls great.5
The texture of the item was alright. I tend to prefer a slightly stiffer material to work with.3
To be honest, at first I was a bit skeptical at first about the Quicksand, but after seeing how my hair looked the same as how I styled it before I left the house, I was convinced. To put things in perspective, I have straight, medium-length hair that I part to the side and the Hanz de Fuko Quicksand did it's job by keeping the part in place all day. IF there was one thing I had to complain about, it would be that the smell of the product may take some getting used to at first, but that's not to say that it smells terrible because it doesn't at all.4
Got the job done. Kept hair lively and looking fresh. The ease of use was a big plus. Good chance I buy.4
Smells good but holds bad. Made my hair feel greasy.3
I'm definitely picky about hair styling products. I find that many gels make hair stiff and hard to be messy with. After reading about this wax, I gave it two tests for general use. Because it is partially a dry shampoo, I tried it with morning/unshowered hair. It left my hair feeling cleaner, and looking less greasy while still having a little bit of hold. It was nothing too stiff, however. Then I tried it a couple days later with freshly showered/clean hair, and found that I was left with dry and still soft touch and adding a fair amount of volume. I was incredibly surprised by this product, and I've never really used anything quite like it. Excited to try more from Hanz de Fuko!5
The smell is pretty strong, I'm not a fan of it. I use Mandom Gatsby Wax which spoiled me. The hold is great though. All you need is a small dab.5
