A shower isn't the only solution for flat or greasy hair. Hanz de Fuko's medium-hold product is one part styling wax, one part dry shampoo, using diatomaceous earth (a soft, pumice-like rock) to suck up excess oil while adding both volume and texture.
I'll admit that it makes your hair look alright, but it also madpkes it feel really weird and grooms, like half-dried snit in your hair. On top if that, there is a really odd smell with the product, and I spent the whole day looking forward to washing my hair.1
Very easy to use and great texture, not necessary for every day use but good for not showering as suggested or if you just want a different dryer texture.5
I have way too many hair products at this point. I seem to accumulate them somehow. This is solid for styling dry hair (I didn't really like using it to style wet hair). Good hold without adding sheen.3
I have VERY thick hair and this product wasn't the best for my super thick hair. It helped me style it, but not how I wanted too without looking out of place. I'll stick with what I have for now.4
Great for messy hairstyles. Lightweight and isn't super sticky. I recommend it.4
Having thick hair bordering on greasy when I haven't showered. Very few products out there will keep my hair in place all day, but this one does it - without shine or weight. A fantastic product!5
Really like this product. It smelled real good and that thick at all. I really enjoyed the texture of it3
This product is very accurate to its' description. It left my hair feeling like I spent the day dunking my head in salt water at the beach.1
Great on short dry flat ironed styles, perfect for that messy dry look. I really can't live without this product5
I generally use a hair cream so I was skeptical when I saw the hair wax sample. My skepticism is gone, and I am rethinking my recent purchase of cream, wishing I had done this amazing product.
The trick, for me, was really warming the wax between my palms before rubbing it through my still damp hair.
The product seems harder to work in dry hair, but was not unmanageable.
A small amount (about the size of a dime) was all I required to give my hair stability without compromising a natural feel, and I have very curly hair.
I highly recommend this.
