Your beard hair is different from the hair on top of your head. Treat it with the respect it deserves. Powered by vetiver, citrus, black pepper, and grapeseed oil, this warm weather-inspired elixir cleanses, conditions, and gives your "face forest"—a classic Nattyism—a fine citrusy scent. If you've ever suffered from a prickly or flaky beard, this is the remedy.
i bought this as a gift for a co-worker.. Unfortunately he didn't really use it as the first time he did it left his skin a bit irritated and red. NOt sure if he just had sensitive skin or what..2
I read all the raving reviews and couldn't wait to try this on my beard. But I don't care for the smell, and worse: it gives me acne.3
My man LOVES almost everything about this. The way is face and beard feel is tops and the smell is pleasant. A big but is, the dropper is ridiculously short. Like, it's half way down when your put it in, and still have about a third to go once the top is screwed in. Total pain. But it still awesome3
after the first week of using Beard Oil daily, I noticed a major change in how my facial hair felt. It was soft, constantly. Even when I get out of the shower or don't use it for a day, my facial hair is extremely soft. My beard is often a talking point when I'm hanging out with friends, and I've started to mention how soft it is after using this. I even invite them to feel it for themselves. They are always amazed when they feel how soft a beard can be.3
I bought this for my fiance. He lets his beard grow out for winter and it gets pretty dry and brushy. I was - and he was - hoping for better results with this product.
As a woman, I can definitely say that I did not enjoy this particular scent at all. It reminded me of mushrooms and a very faint hint of citrus (just odd). My fiance said it smelled "OK" but it was not something he would want to wear.
He said it was just okay overall, that it was better than nothing at all. I can vouch that this did not soften his beard any better than regular deep conditioners. He said he prefers using a dab on my hot oil treatments or argan oils. (The hot oil really does the trick for softening and adding shine!)
All in all, neither of us would recommend this product.
I ordered this for my husband who has a great beard. He wasn't crazy about the smell and he felt that this oil was making him break out whereas the argon oil doesn't break him out and keeps his beard from looking ragged and unkept.3
Bought this as a stocking stuffer for my Husband last Christmas. He likes the product. Says it has a light scent which isn't over powering (faintly citrus but I cant smell it after he puts it on even if I smell his beard directly lol) it smoothes out his wiry hairs and adds a nice shine.3
The scent is advertised as something lighter and more warm weather friendly, but it's weak enough where I don't think it really matters. There may be some citrus notes mentioned in the description, but I found that there was a strong, awkward pepper scent to it that was more noticeable. Either way, the scent isn't noticeable for more than 5 minutes after applying so it's almost a moot point. It's a good product in terms of moisturizing coarse facial hair though- I'm going to continue to use the original beard elixir for as long as I have a beard.3
After hearing good things I decided to give this beard oil a try; I had heard the other one they offer was better, but it was sold out. And it worked well, but could have done without its scent. Just didn't smell as nice as some of the other ones I've tried.4
I really enjoy the smell, it's soothing. I like the shine it brings to me beard. It helps my course hair lay smoothly.4
