This rugged herbal lip balm is about as far as any lip product can get from shiny, sticky gloss. The fresh-scented salve is soft and even a little chunky thanks to natural ingredients like cocoa butter and sweet almond oil. Together they work to keep lips smooth, hydrated, and protected through the toughest chapping conditions.
Smooth: not too glossy, not too waxy, not too oily, not too creamy. Smooth, but not too thin. Nice smell and taste, but not candy. Serious, but not medicated. Convenient tube. The new benchmark for manly lip balm.5
Ok, so I really don't use lip balm until late winter, when it's way too late, and I'm suffering from my foolishness. That said, this is way better than the similar looking mass-market brand, and better than the "yes to" that Birchbox sent a while back. Seems to go on a little gritty/thick, but really settles in well - I think it's effective.4
I always love a lip balm! This one is a great texture and I love the mint.4
This is a guy's lip balm. I hate going to the store to buy lip balm only to find out it has gloss or color in it or some girly smell. I will be buying more of this!5
This product tastes and smells good. It is a little soft so it seems to go on heavy but it does a good job and doesn't go away fast like so many do. This isn't my favorite lip balm because of the heavy application but the best smelling and tasting balm.5
This product definitely leaves lips smooth, hydrated, and protected through the toughest chapping conditions. Worth the buy.5
Gets the job done and is not too greesy like many of the other products on the market.4
I have no complaints about the product but it seems to do the job the same as every other chapstick I have used from the drug store. I also didn't like the paper label on the chapstick. It seems like it would become gross after being in my pocket all the time.3
I'm a frequent user of both Lucky Tiger and Burt's Bees lip balms, and I think this one works fairly well, but not as well as either of those. Smells good, though, and it does very well in it's own right.4
I really enjoyed the change of pace from regular chapsticks, with this "herbal mint" scented sample. The stick applies nice and thin, and keeps your lips moist continuously. Although I do enjoy the flavor, my only criticism is to maybe have less lemon flavor, and more of the"herbal" scent since it gets masked easily.4
