A gadget should earn high marks in performance and design—and these earbuds stand out from the gray-scale pack. Wrapped in reclaimed wood, the 100% electro-acoustic tested headphones pair superior sound with style. Plus, each pair sold benefits a charity for the hearing impaired.
As mentioned in several other reviews, anything rubbing against the cord will be heard in your ears (like a stethoscope). It's a shame, since the actual headphones have a nice, rich sound. I still use the headphones every once in a while, but would not recommend them at any price.1
OK, I have been a subscriber for over a year now and I have to say I am always more pleased with the unique items in my box each month especially when they are accessories or things other than hair, facial products etc. I thought these ear buds were the coolest thing ever first off because I had never saw a wooden pair and they were just really cool. I guess it is unfortunate that they were so cool my 15 yr old son had taken them and has been rocking them forever. " Dad I have the coolest ear bids at our school, your birch box is awesome"
I love this product
I use headphones daily with my job. They don't hold up very well. Broke within a week. Way too expensive. Sound good though1
The product looks great and has a premium feel to it. But the in-ear concept doesn't work for me. I tried various tips but they vary from very uncomfortable to outright painful. And they don't stay in the ear canal. I've tried various methods based on online videos and articles but none worked.
This might be a great product for others but I can't rate it highly.
Good quality. Good sound. Very comfortable in my ear.
I enjoy everything about this product. Beautiful aesthetically. Fine construction. Good sound quality, and it comes from a company with an honorable purpose. I enjoyed the sample ear buds so much I purchased a pair of Troubadour headphones from LSTN.5
The sound is based more on the deep end. Sound stage isn't that great. Not bad, not too good.4
These buds are great looking and I like the fact that the company supports great causes. So far as I can tell they also produce great sound.4
These ear buds have no doubt been the best I've ever used and turned me on to more expensive audio gear. At the moment I'm looking at this same brand's headphones, then after that I'm looking to upgrade my stereo. I love how these look and feel. Unlike the standard two size buds, these come with three, which is very useful. They also of course sound amazing like any good pair of ear buds should, and block out some enough sound for me to vacuum and listen to music comfortably without the need to turn it up too high.5
The sound quality from the earphones is good. The feel of the wood on the earpiece is good too; definitely stylish. However, the rubbing of the wire produces a "stethoscope-like" sound, which is very distracting.3
