When it comes to all things techy, we like our gadgets to score high marks in performance and design—and these earbuds stand out from the gray-scale pack. Made from reclaimed wood, the 100% electro-acoustic tested headphones pair superior sound quality with one-of-a-kind good looks. And, because each pair of headphones benefits a charity for the deaf, this is an accessory you can feel good about.
Loved it . Worked well! Will be ordering more when I finish!3
Got these to replace my last nylon-wrapped pair of buds that I accidentally left on a plane. The wood frame really does make a difference in treble (and a bit in bass), and the sound is pretty amazing. Only downside is no volume control on the mic/control button. Great buy so far!4
when i got these in my first box i didn't expect them to be this high quality. i prefer these to my beats by dre ear buds. they deliver such a great quality of sound and they look very professional. i use them all the time in the car while talking (the microphone works great)!!5
I've received 10 Birchboxes . . . and this is definitely my favorite product. So well designed, stylish and rugged. Well worth the $50.5
I really liked these earbuds. I'm not a fan of this type of headphones, but they're super nice and fit well. They also include a microphone, which is nice, and a lengthy cord, which is also nice.5
These headphones have earned 1 star for beauty (the wood is gorgeous, 1 star for quality (surprisingly great!) and 1 star for ease of untangling . That's it!
The wood causes an unfortunate friction sound any time you move, so that's annoying. But even more so disappointing is the fact that they don't last long, one of my headphones went out of service in 2 months....
Great idea, OK execution.
not sure I'd pay $50 for these, but handy to keep as an extra set at my desk3
I really liked the look and concept of these headphones, but the shape and size just didn't secure very well inside my ear.3
I have enjoyed these buds since having an old pair break shortly before receiving these ones. The wood definitely creates a unique warmth to the sound profile as compared to previous metal-housed buds and even larger over-the-ear headphones I've owned. I found the rubber tips wear a bit thin and even with the largest tips tend to feel loose. Apart from that, very good and the tips can be easily swapped for another pair.4
Beautiful and crisp clear sound many compliments and inquires about where I got them5
