When it comes to all things techy, we like our gadgets to score high marks in performance and design—and these earbuds stand out from the gray-scale pack. Made from reclaimed wood, the 100% electro-acoustic tested headphones pair superior sound quality with one-of-a-kind good looks. And, because each pair of headphones benefits a charity for the deaf, this is an accessory you can feel good about.
I love the wood-grain look and they sound amazing. I use them when I walk on the treadmill and they stay in place with falling out and help drown out the ambient noise.4
I really like the wood. The sound is really clear and I like it comes with multiple ear bud options for different sized ears and the bag for portability.5
I go through many pairs of headphones while exercising. While these don't seem to be designed for active use, they are great for walking and working at your desk. The sound quality is great. I listen to a lot of electronic music with a lot of layers and you can hear all of the instruments very clearly.5
First of all, let me just say that I was immediately curious about this product when I opened this month's birchbox. It's not every day that you see headphones made of wood. Then I took a closer look and noticed how well designed they were. They felt sturdy and they looked amazing. Then I was terrified that these would not have good sound, because I wanted nothing more than to use these all the time. So, I popped them in, and sure enough, they sounded great! The treble can get a little weak at times, but altogether they do sound really great, especially the bass performance! I would most definitely recommend these to anyone!5
The cherry wood grain is super cool looking and I love the acoustic sound these puppies rock. They are a little big though and do not work great for working out but are perfect for more chill situations.4
First off, the design quality of these headphones is fantastic. They just look great and feel very high quality. They give you small/med/large earpieces which is great as well. My only complaint is that the sound quality isn't fantastic. They get the job done and are better than my laptop speakers, but I wouldn't choose them over other headphones based on sound quality alone. Factoring in design, though, these are definitely winners.4
These worked so well. The sound quality is great and I can't hear anything around me while using them which I love.5
Was pleasantly surprised when these came in my box. I love the wood as its stylish and just feels nicer than plastic. The cord wrapped in nylon is wonderful as one of my main complains about earbuds is that they tangle. As for sound quality it is crisp and the bass notes are not overpowering. Hope these last a while because at 50 dollars though I think worth every penny and for a good cause I just couldn't afford it.5
I am listening to these headphones while I write this with a smile on my face. I heard they had good quality but WOW! These blow my (insert expensive brand here) headphones out of the water! GREAT BASS!!!5
I was really surprised to see these buds in my November box and was rather skeptical of how they would sound. I read the packaging material and saw that they donated hearing aids to needy folks and thought that was very cool, in and or itself. Then I plugged them in to my iPhone six and was blown away. They sound better than the Beats ear buds I purchased for over $100. I highly recommend this brand and this product.5
