Sometimes bar soap can get a bad rap, but today’s bars are anything but the skin-drying, pH level-altering soaps of yore. These moisturizing bars are filled with nourishing, good-for-you ingredients, and leave behind subtle scents inspired by the sights, sounds, and smells of Argentina.
I purchased this soap because I loved the Patagonia-scented sample I received a few months ago. So this time I tried it in the Midnight Tango scent.
Patagonia is still my favorite, but this one smells very good too! It smells very sweet. I love the vanilla. Though for some reason the orange blossom comes across as an almost grape-y smell (but good nonetheless).
The bar is huge! I cut mine into many small pieces to make it last longer. And it lathers nicely and leaves skin soft.
I had noticed that a lot of the "grocery" store type soaps left me with extremely dry skin...I started buying soaps at all natural type stores and boutiques but wasn't getting the "suds" out of those soaps that I expected. This soap has the "suds" and leaves your skin with a "lotion-y" softness. Definitely love this soap and will purchase again!
5I love the smell of this stuff, and it's so moisturizing while still being effective at cleansing. I don't typically use a bar soap, so when I got it in my box, I was a little bummed. I tried it anyway, though, and fell in love. Have repurchased. The full size is much bigger. Almost awkwardly big, but it lasts a long time.
