We’re all for testing out the latest fashion trends (even if we are a little skeptical about the supposed return of pleated trousers). When it comes to cologne, however, we like a classic scent—like this new one from English Laundry. The evolving scent opens with fresh, citrusy notes, and settles into a woodsy mélange that’s never passé.
This smells nice and is a good scent for fall/winter.4
Awesome smelling cologne - has wonderful cedar accents, and not too over powering4
This is a very subtle fragrance. The reason I like it, is that it's not that typical overbearing manly musky kinda scent. I would say it's very different in that it's almost TOO subtle. But if you, like me, enjoy cologne that doesn't make you stink to the point where others are tasting it, you might be into this.4
Scents are all subjective, so a review is sort of silly since is such a personal preference.
With that said, I really like scent. It's masculine, but not overbearing. I don't wear cologne, but may start because I like this so much.
I would buy this once my regular cologne is used up.4
I quite liked the crisp, refreshing smell. The tester itself was fairly ineffective. If buying a full bottle of this, assuming the bottle is better than a temporary sample, this would be a good purchase.4
This is the second time I've received this product in my Birchbox. Still won't purchase it. The scent is not bad but prefer others.4
A more feminine scent that I had anticipated but altogether unpleasant.4
This fragrance is very pleasing without being overwhelming4
I don't wear cologne often, but have found that I like what English Laundry comes out with. I liked this particular one. Very subtle4
