We're all for testing out the latest trends (pleated trousers aside), but when it comes to cologne, we like to keep it classic. This evolving scent opens with fresh, citrusy notes of bergamot, lemon, and lime, gives way to heart notes of jasmine and peppercorn, and settles into a woodsy blend of cedar, sandalwood, and amber. The result is a evolving and elegant cologne that's never passé.
Wow ! I get compliments on this EVERY time I wear it, which has only happened with two other colognes I owned. It really does have a classic scent as described. It smells masculine, but not like an old man; virile is the word that comes to mind. I also like the bottle, it really does make you think of something British.5
Smell amazingly British. My lady liked it a lot and so do I. However, I will not likely wear it everyday.5
Not only do I love the smell of this cologne, my wife does as well. The trial size is perfect for me who wears it only on special occasions, though I am tempted to wear it daily.5
This is reminiscent Abercrombie and Fitch's Fierce, but a less intense and more mature scent. I've ran quite a few scents over the years but this once is clearly my new one.5
I will be ordering this for my husband. He got it in his first box and loved it. He had never wore cologne before so this must be great. It has an amazing earthy smell but its not over bearing. Very clean and delightful.5
This has been my favorite cologne to date. It has a very sophisticated smell to it. I would recommend it to anyone.5
I really enjoyed the classic freshness this scent had as well as the long lasting fragrance. I noticed that the fragrance lingered well into the evening after I had put it on before work in the morning that day. I might purchase a full-size bottle when this runs out.5
The reason I hate getting a single "signature" scent is dealing with the void after it leaves production. Ten years ago, I had such a fragrance, and had to bleed off the bottle I had. Notting Hill is very close to that scent--a wood-citrus blend that's perfect for the coming warmer months.....5
Wasn't crazy about the smell at first, but overtime I grew to really enjoy it. It's not overpowering or too subtle, just the right amount of umph to get the job done. Naturally, the wife loves the smell and is envious of such a great men's fragrance.
BTW I hate the smell of most colognes, so do yourself a favor and jump on this one.
This cologne is a departure from a lot of men's cologne's that are really strongly woodsy. The citrus notes soften this one a bit and make it a classic choice.4
