This landmark addition to the Hanz de Fuko line is the ultimate in user-friendly styling—pairing the holding power of wax with the soft, versatile finish of clay. The result is an adaptable product that can craft almost any ’do, from a mild case of bedhead to a rockabilly pompadour.
It's what I needed.
Great for the hair.
This clay has great holding power. I usually use gel that has super natural strength. This isn't like that but works great when my hair is shorter. Seems to be identical to Baxter's clay except for smell...which I prefer Baxter's better. I also use a tiny bit to tame the beard hairs too4
No smell holds great and it doesn't make your hair look like oh have something in it5
This brand always gets points from me just for it's silly name. This seems like a good product but it'd just not strong enough to tame my extra thick, manly, Hollywood hair. I'll try using it on my dastardly mustache and see if it's keep a handlebar throughout the day.3
Great product to get that tight, old fashion hold. Very strong hold. Waxy but not greasy.5
Always willing to give something new a try, I went in... I use pomade that is water based with a translucent thick jelly-like consistency. I wasn't a fan of the opaque creamy paste as this one had. If your a paste/cream guy this may be right up your alley, just not my preference.3
I had been looking for a clay that is a little more moldable that the current one I was using, and this is exactly where I want it. Definitely gives some hold and volume, but also is flexible enough to be molded, gives a mostly matte finish.5
Liked the way it smelled, and felt! Works well with my daily routine.5
This is probably the thickest clay mold I've come across - not great for someone with super fine hair as I have, as it gets weighed down very easily. Super sticky once in the palm, so really had to warm it up before apply. Personally, worked better with damp hair to help distribute the product rather than on dry which clumped easily because of the density. Didn't think it had much of a scent, which wasn't an issue.3
I have fine hair, and I found that this doesn't work very well with that. Just going back to my usual haircare product.2
