Whether you’re trekking through distant lands, or just trekking to work, it won’t be long before your leather shoes start to show their age. There isn’t always time for the lengthy shine and buff ritual, but thankfully, a quick application goes a long way with these portable wipes. They clear up scuffs instantly and give dull kicks a brilliant shine (with zero drying time).
These are a great idea and work pretty well, but I don't travel that often so I always have access to my shoe shining stuff.4
Very cool product. I does its job and its very easy to use on the go. I like that it is small and you can just put it in your travel bag in case you need it.4
I love having these to do a quick shine before work.5
Simple, compact...excellent for business travel...but at $1.00 per wipe/cloth?
There are better, re-usable options out there for the traveler.
I guess these are nice if you need your shoes to REALLY shine, and I suppose some folks do.4
I am in the Army and these came in right before a banquet where I would be wearing my dress uniform. I have had my shoes for years and they were starting to look pretty bad. I was actually going to buy a new pair of shoes, but decided to try these wipes first. They did such a good job on my old shoes that I was able to wear them to the banquet with no issues. Because of these, it will probably be awhile before I need to buy new shoes5
This product rates up there with Shout Wipes, Anti-oil facial wipes, and a pocket knife as for items that should be carried by every man as an EDC. As a teacher that moves between children and adults I often have issues getting smudges and scuffs on my shoes before heading to teach somewhere else. These things work great.
The only reason I'm rating the sample size as a 1 is because they only gave me two. I went through both of them in one day. Guess I'll have to get more.
I don't usually trek in areas that would require a wipe down of my shoes, but in those moment that I do, these wipes would come in handy. However, I'm not sure I see what I can do with these that I can't do with some simple napkins and water.3
I tried one of these and they do a decent job of cleaning.3
A decent shine if you're in a pinch but doesn't compare to a real shine4
