Of all the little comforts that brighten our day, few can beat the soothing sensation of balm on a pair of dry, cracked lips. This example from GO247 makes a good thing even better, enhancing the natural hydration of beeswax with a refreshing burst of menthol. Consider it the pocket-sized equivalent of a tall glass of water (one that won’t leak on your brand new slacks).
I already received lip balm in my Birchbox from 2 months ago. It'll take me about a year to go through that one, so this one is likely just going to be sitting around. However, I did try it, and it seems to have this mediciney-type scent that I'm not very fond of. Otherwise, it seems like it works like all other lip balms/chapsticks. Nothing too extraordinary about this product.3
I felt like I basically had petroleum on my lips. It was way to thick and hard to apply and the scent was rather bland.2
Weird texture, glumpy (for lack of a better word) and didn't really cure chapped lips. multiple applications to little success. sorry guys, was hoping for better.2
I really like the menthol, but the balm itself is a bit to waxy for my tastes for casual use. It does have some staying power there. I'm sure I'll have some awful chapped lips this winter and change my tune when this stuff refuses to move... ha.1
I love this product the balm gives you a nice tingle after use.5
When I first used this lip balm, I did not much care for it. There is a certain stickiness that I have noticed coating my lips after applying. That said, it has grown on me. I have used it multiple times each day since receiving the sample in my December box, and plan to purchase it in the future. The menthol tingle is nice, and I have felt that my lips are more moisturized and protected since I began using it. My opinion may change through further use, but for right now I say this product meets my lip balm needs more than adequately.4
I use chapstick lip balm all year round as i'm prone to very chapped lips. I was excited to use the product as i am with all of birch box product's, however i was less than satisfied with this particular one. I was comfortable with the peppermint tingling (i'm used to Burts Bee's wax) but the odor/scent was too unpleasant. Needless to say that I wouldn't purchase this specific product.1
too pasty and i don't really like the taste. maybe another flavor would be better.2
Once you get used to the texture and tackiness, you'll love it! Keeps your lips hydrated forever.5
The texture was much too crayon/waxy for me. And the scent wasn't anything like the packaging and description made it out to be. It seemed a lot more toxic or something that has been sitting out in the sun or glove compartment for about a year.
