Arquiste Aleksandr

Inspired by Russian winters, love affairs, and the fiery novels of Alexander Pushkin, this fragrance evolves from a crisp, citrus opening to a warm, woodsy finish. The result is an aroma that conjures memories, whether you’re sitting by the fire, or off for a wintry walk.

Was it milked from Hera?!
Sampled

It smells fine, and my gf said she liked the smell. The scent lingers, so use sparingly. But that price! Has to have excreted from a mythological diet from one culture or another, bottled, and marketed to we mere mortals!

I like the scent. I won't be buying this, but enjoyed the sample.

Very rich - too rich

I loved the top notes, but after a few minutes, the scent turned on my skin and smelled of powder and pepper. I didn't love it on my skin (which is why I love Birchbox Samples!)

Not a fan

My sense of smell is very limited and this was too overbearing. I hated it and quickly gave the sample away to a friend who enjoyed it.

Nice Scent, Pretty Pricey

I would love to add this great-smelling scent to my collection, but alas, I am a lowly state government employee. :(

This used to come in a bottle shaped like a Ford Model T
Sampled

I opened the sample, and immediately was reminded of my Grandfather's cologne that was in a bottle shaped like a Model T.
While it was a nice scent memory, I do not feel that this is a scent i would wear. It smells of old fashioned old guy. Which is fine. Just not for me.
And the cost of a full size bottle of eau de Paw-Paw? Astronomical.
Way too expensive for what was cheap drug store cologne. I'm sorry to hate, because I'm sure there are people who like it's vintage, old fashion smell.

Not for me

This scent is very complex, perhaps a bit too much. There are plenty of other colognes that deliver the goods at half the cost. If you're looking for a specialty cologne that sets you apart from the 'hoi polloi', than this might be the one for you.

It's alright but way too expensive
Sampled

For what it costs I expected a way more sophisticated and less sweet smelling scent. For that price I expect a more unique scent with better wearability. This scent sorta locks you into an occasion, and it isnt nearly as good as some of the less expensive colognes that I have.
