Marcia Brady didn’t get her enviable silky, flaxen mane without a little help from the right brush. This classic cushion design holds 100 percent boar bristles, which catch and hold hair for easy styling and straightening of your strands. Now, just count out 100 brushstrokes each day and you’re golden.
I got this brush around Christmas and I loved it for a while. It was a little static-y at first but after a few uses that isn't a problem. I added it to my collection of brushes as the perfect finishing brush (after blow drying with a round brush this brush smoothed without killing the volume). However, the other night I felt something poking into my palm when I brushed my hair. The paint is already peeling off the handle. After further inspection of the bristles, I'm not sure how much longer it will last. I've had cheaper brushes for close to 10 years without any problems like this. This brush wasn't cheap enough to justify falling apart after 4 months of not even daily use on very fine hair.2
second time I've actually spent money on a hair rush and don't regret it I love it I will never let anybody else use it not even my children5
Before I invested in a significantly more expensive boar hair brush, I bought this one. I like how it feels on my scalp, I like that it brushes through my curly hair pretty easily with very minimal hair pulling. I HATE that it makes my hair staticky :( I have to apply a little bit of oil after brushing my hair with this brush to make it lay back down. I'm pretty disappointed, I had high expectations after reading reviews but it's not for everyone I suppose!3
I was so excited about this brush!! Seriously. I wanted something that would smooth and shine my hair. Well, it does, but my hair immediately POOFS with frizz when I brush it. When I run my hand over the frizz it goes right away, but I would rather not have to touch my dry hair so much (oils). I will say, it IS winter here in GA. But it's been raining the past few days...
I have medium length, fine hair (but a lot of it) and it definitely flattens my hair. I have to do a little teasing or work in some volumizing product after brushing my hair with this if I am going out.
Love the way it makes my hair and scalp feel, don't love the frizz or flatness. All-in-all, it does what it is supposed to.
I have curly hair and really wanted a brush to detangle after I shower because I usually air dry. This IS NOT that brush BUT I use it on the occasions that I do blow dry and it is AMAZING! It helps to expedite the blow drying process and leaves my hair shiny.5
Well, first of all it is not harm your hair, and it won't pull out more hair then already dead. It is good for thin hair and problematic for thick. Great quality!4
I've always wanted a boar's hair brush and I really love this one. My hair isn't very dry naturally but I have noticed a difference. I brush my hair before I go to bed and after about two weeks my hair feels healthier.4
I have never used a hair brush like this before. It leaves my hair extra silky and smooth. Instead of just de-tangling my hair, I feel like it refreshing my entire head of hair.5
This is the first hair brush I've ever liked! I have lots and lots of fine hair, and I've always had problems with brushes making my hair snarled and/or frizzy, and they don't do much for my fine limp hair. So I haven't used a brush in 20+ years. I got this brush on a whim and it slides right through my hair and makes it full, thick, and soft. I highly recommend it and can't wait to try their other brushes.5
I had wanted a boar bristle brush and researched a few different brands and ultimately decided on this one. The reviews I'd read set high expectations and the brush met all of them! I have thick hair so it takes some time to brush through versus plastic bristles but it has a luxurious, old-fashioned feeling.5
