Moderation is key when it comes to exfoliating, which is why those harsh scrubs aren’t doing your skin any favors. Luckily, this hip Parisian brand’s ultra-gentle cleanser crossed the ocean just in time to rescue dull complexions without stripping skin. A host of natural ingredients, including finely ground apricot seeds, work to lift away dead cells and impurities.
I've received a lot of exfoliation product in my boxes, but I have to say that I like this one the least. It just doesn't feel very effective1
There are not enough seeds in the cleanser to exfoliate anything. They are very small, which is nice so they don't damage your skin, but they are hardly there. Also, while I like the fragrance, it is a lot and would not recommend to people who are sensitive to perfume.
Also, fyi this is a gel cleanser that does not foam.
I was not impressed with this. It was very watery and I had to use almost the entire sample in 1 use. I definitely have other scrubs that I prefer.1
I've tried a lot of exfoliators and almost all that I've tried has been better than this sample. I don't feel like it was effective at all! It felt so watery and it barely exfoliated at all.1
I didn't see where this exfoliant/cleanser made any difference in my skin. In fact, I think it made it drier. Also, I think the sample size was entirely too small to see the effectiveness or benefit to justify making a purchasing commitment.1
This seems kind of harsh for sensitive skin. I've used better, more gentle exfoliators.1
Unfortunately, I was not too excited to try this product when I realized it was a scrub - and especially when I read that it contains apricot seed pieces. While the pieces are very small, apricot seed pieces are very rough and actually hard your skin, not just sloughing off the dead skin cells. For individuals like myself with even mild acne, scrubs will open up your pores and spread the acne bacteria all over your face. I did try the scrub on my hands, but it felt so rough I am not sure I will use it as a hand scrub, either.1
This cleanser does not feel like it should. I have an oily t-zone and it felt like I was rubbing moisturizer with beads on. It felt heavy and I needed to wash my face twice with my regular face was to get the feeling off. I do not recommend if you have combination or oily skin.1
This product smelled nice but did not exfoliate my skin at all. Felt more like just lotion.1
This facial cleanser is not for me. It doesn't really feel like a normal exfoliate- very few coarse grain-type things. Also, it feels like it just sticks to my face and leaves a weird film.1
