In the war on funky footwear, the no-show sock is as powerful ally—but a flimsy, slippery pair can be worse than going sockless. These high-tech loafer liners were designed to hold their ground: against slippage, odor, and the aches of a lengthy journey. A trifecta of cushion, ventilation, and InvisiGrip linings help them stay put, and stay dry, no matter how far they take you.
I live in South Florida and so tube socks or even ankle socks are simply out of the question for me. It's so stinking hot...
I am one of those people that actually thinks they were the first person to wear the "no-sock" look. I would basically roll down regular socks until they were barely on my feet and try to tough it out.
Glad to see fashion has caught up to my needs! ;D
I have big old feet, and I can never keep this style of sock on. The Tommy Johns, though, have a big grip area in the back to lock them onto your heel (instead of just a little line of grip material). I actually wore them to a wedding for that no-sock Euro look, and they held up all night.
