A strong, musky scent might be suited to a cognac parlor, but if you're in the mood for adventure, you'll need a cologne with a little more pep. This citrusy fragrance channels the spirit of the Far-East explorer, combining fresh, zesty notes of lime, bergamot, and coriander with a warm sandalwood and vetiver base that feels grounded in English tradition.
I found this cologne to be too strong. I'm conservative in my choices of scents and this one was too out there for me. I'll pass.1
Pretty feminine smell that wont appeal to most men. After my girlfriend took it from me, I'll say it smells good on a woman.1
This scent is simply too strong and I don't like the smell. I gave it away1
I am not a fan of English Laundry colognes at all. I have sampled 2 in my Birchbox so far this year and both were way too strong!! Please Birchbox, no mor English Laundry!!1
Yet another fragrance that just feels way too old and musky.1
While this fragrance is nice, it is just not for me.1
A little too musky for me. I usually go with sweeter scents.1
I really don't wear cologne so don't have much to compare this to. But it was a bit too strong for my liking.1
I generally dislike English Laundry's products because they all smell like the sort of thing a cheap date would wear. You know the type, gelled-out hair, cheaply made button shirt that's way too tight, jeans that feel like recycled cardboard spraypainted blue, walking through the mall as if they have anything better to do. This is what English Laundry smells like to me. I am not that guy, nor will I ever be. Therefore, this is not for me.1
I know that's terrible title but's its true! This product smells exactly the same from when you put it on in the morning until you hit the sheets at night. Which is a good thing, if you like the scent. It's very woodsy, and has an overwhelming herbaceous quality. I prefer a lighter citrus, floral, water scent--this isn't for me.
