A strong, musky scent might be suited to a cognac parlor, but if you're in the mood for adventure, you'll need a cologne with a little more pep. This citrusy fragrance channels the spirit of the Far-East explorer, combining fresh, zesty notes of lime, bergamot, and coriander with a warm sandalwood and vetiver base that feels grounded in English tradition.
Nice scent - a bit overpowering. I like English Laundry products, but they can be a bit expensive in my opinion.4
English Laundry has been on point with their fragrances. This is pretty powerful and you only need a little. For the people saying this is too overbearing, it is a Parfume not toilette so you only need a SMALL amount!4
I got this in my box but it stunk up my entire box. Very strong and not to my taste1
This is quite a good scent. a little bit lasts a long way with this cologne, giving off a pleasant woody, musk all day long with very little wear-off all day long, despite working in a hard-working environment. price is a little outrageous for me, I don't normally spend this much on cologne, but the ends might justify the means in this case. product tester given as part of a birchbox subscription4
Like all colognes, this one is going to come down go individual preference. It is strong and long lasting but not my favorite scent. Not bad by any means-just not for me.4
If I had a nickel for the amount of compliments I've received after stepping out wearing this lovely scent I'd be a rich man! Love it5
I received English Laundry Eau de Parfum Signature sample shortly after purchasing English Laundry's Arrogant cologne. English Laundry Eau de Parfum Signature fragrance is quite nice. I like it as much or more than Arrogant. I'm swimming in product, but would gladly own this.5
I have use these products before and loved the smell this one is especially wonderful4
This scent is really overpowering, and both myself and my wife do not enjoy the smell.1
BirchBox has really been pushing the English Laundry scents, and I haven't really loved any of them. This one is no different. Cologne is hard to review; it smells different on everyone, and it's all about personal preference. To me, this one smells generic. It's more woodsy than citrusy, but there isn't a note that really stands out. It feels more like a spiritual successor to Cool Water or whatever cologne you got from your parents when you turned 15. But that's just me. There's nothing offensive about it. If EL scents work for you, you may love this one.3
