A strong, musky scent might be suited to a cognac parlor, but if you're in the mood for adventure, you'll need a cologne with a little more pep. This citrusy fragrance channels the spirit of the Far-East explorer, combining fresh, zesty notes of lime, bergamot, and coriander with a warm sandalwood and vetiver base that feels grounded in English tradition.
I have use these products before and loved the smell this one is especially wonderful4
This scent is really overpowering, and both myself and my wife do not enjoy the smell.1
BirchBox has really been pushing the English Laundry scents, and I haven't really loved any of them. This one is no different. Cologne is hard to review; it smells different on everyone, and it's all about personal preference. To me, this one smells generic. It's more woodsy than citrusy, but there isn't a note that really stands out. It feels more like a spiritual successor to Cool Water or whatever cologne you got from your parents when you turned 15. But that's just me. There's nothing offensive about it. If EL scents work for you, you may love this one.3
Always a pleasure to see a product this brand in my box. Great Scent My wife loves!5
Give this one a try, what else can I say. I was happy with the product from start to finish. I have never used this one before and was glad to try it. The packaging is attractive and descriptive. I cannot write enough good things about this product. It’s worth a try.2
Throughout the years I have received many scents from English Laundry. This one is nice but it's a little overpowering.4
Smells nice but not great one for me. Not going to buy it.2
Just not really a good smell on me however it smells good and is long lasting3
Strong masculine scent...wife approved, but not looking to spend $85 on my scent when I rarely wear cologne.4
This particular fragrance was not my favorite. However, I did receive several compliments from others who seemed to like the smell.4
