I first recieved this product as a sample, in a Birchbox, and when I used it for a couple weeks—however long it took to finish the sample—my face felt good. I purchased the full size tube, and after using it for a couple of months, my face felt tight and dry. Maybe I was just using too much? Whatever. I switched back to my regular cleanser.
I'm very picky with face wash and I was skeptical to try this. I'm so happy I did. This is so gentle and keeps my pores small and my skin clear!!
If you are sensitive, try this
I have rosecea and my skin is extremely sensitive. This is a creamy, non foamy cleanser that is gentle but cleans your skin. So far I have been extremely satisfied with all of Acure products.
I have had Perioral dermatitis all of my life and EVERYTHING irritates the heck outta the skin on my face. This is the only cleanser that not only completely removes my makeup with just one application but is genlte enough not to aggrivate my delicate skin. It's the perfect cleanser!!
Review/Comparison Acure Sensitive facial cleanser
I have yet to try an Acure product that I don't like. I realize how cliche' that sounds, but it's true. Ya'll, Just look at those ingridient lists! Essentially, great product, pure/organic ingredients, and inexpensive by many standards.
I've also tried their Facial cleaning gel with gel super fruit + CGF, right before I tried this. I love that product as well and I had a really hard time trying to decide rather to just reorder or try one formulated for sensitive skin.
Both are great product and if you're stuck between the two my advice would be to choose based off of your skin type. Combo to oily should get the super fruit gel, and normal/dry should get sensitive.
Also worth noting: gel super fruit cleanser has a naturally occurring citrus scent. I found it to be refreshing and pleasant. The sensitive formula has no scent.
