no size chart
Purchased

The material is more like an under armour compression pant than yoga pants. The waistband is thick but elastic, and rather high waist. There was no size chart provided, a L was smaller than I would have liked. I have workout pants ranging in size M to XL.

Like 1980's spandex!
Purchased

Not as cute as I thought they'd be, they are very, very SHINY, like 1980's spandex shiny. I feel like I should be doing a workout to a Jane Fonda VHS tape in these. I won't be wearing them to the gym, they seem too fragile (and too shiny!), but I can wear them ok under short dresses and skirts. Also, the Birchbox logo hits right at the side of my knee joint so it looks all weird and squished all the time : /

These are shiny Richard Simmons leggings that are very small and not comfortable. I'm returning mine! I bought a medium but am a small.

Good Yoga Pants, Bad Sizing
Purchased

As other reviewers have said, the sizing is off on this. They definitely run small. Other than that, they are good yoga crops. They come up high enough in the back to be good in class, and they are comfortable (once you cut out the tag). They have a semi-shiny finish, but not too shiny. I normally wear a medium in athletic clothes and an 8 to 10 in dress bottoms, and I got a large. They fit well but on the tight side. I would recommend sizing up 2 sizes if you are unsure or don't like thngs tight.

Poor quality

I'm pretty sure the style and sizing of these pants were not given much thought, if any. Not very stretchy, shiny, too silky (not comfortable for working out), since they're not very stretchy they are not good for yoga or any stretching activity, poor sizing - I bought a medium and they fit weird, not becoming, tight around my calves. I feel like they're going to rip! I'm super disappointed I wasted my money. Just go get a brand you trust like Prana, Lululemon, Athleta...
