Texas hairstylists Holly Dear and Kaycee Clark had, between them, cut, colored, and styled hair from L.A. to Spain and developed high-end hair coloring products in Italy. In 2008, the two women took their talents back to Dallas to co-found Dear Clark salon—and, not long after, start a line of haircare products designed to soothe and revive tired hair. All the brand’s products are handmade in the Lone Star State, and based around a trio of local ingredients—aloe vera, rose of Jericho, and sunflower seed oil—that heal and hydrate stressed-out strands.
