Birchbox Breakdown

In a perfect world, we'd have time to shampoo our strands more than once a week. (We’d also sleep eight hours a night and hit the gym instead of the snooze button.) But for all those occasions when life intervenes, this revitalizing dry shampoo is our secret weapon. The powdery formula revives second-day strands and beyond, absorbing excess oil to provide instant lift.

How to Use

For best results, use on not-so-fresh, slightly dirty hair. Shake the can and hold about 10 inches away from your head. Spray a small amount (seriously, a little goes a long way) on your roots, focusing on your crown, sides, and part. Let it sit for a minute to soak up any oil, then massage the powdery formula into your scalp. Brush through and style as usual. Note: If you accidentally spray on too much product, set your blow dryer to a low temperature and use a round brush to blend the dry shampoo into your strands.

Builds volume wish it didn't make my hair so white
SampledPurchased

I really like this dry shampoo. It builds lots of volume and can revive even the worst rats nest into a sexy bed head, however I have two small problems with it. 1. This product leaves copious amounts of white residue on my very dark locks. I have to check and recheck that it is all blended in and 2. It doesn't have the best sent on the market. I will keep it among my dry shampoos, however it isn't my number one. I think formulas have changed since this first came out and there are texturizing sprays and other dry shampoos that can give the same or better results without the white powdery aftermath.

Fine hair

Not the best for fine hair, but I loved the smell! It felt like it weighed it down and was hard to brush out. Maybe I applied too much but my hair felt chalky from root to tip. Brushing it out wasn't ideal either, my brush struggled to comb this product out.

Awful Smell

This stuff had a very harsh chemical spray and left some residue in my hair, and at this price range their are plenty of other better products out their.

Just okay

I like Batiste better, especially for the price. This is now my "if I run out" dry shampoo but the smell alone is off-putting.
