I guess at some point in my life my skin had to react to something... and this product was it. First time I've EVER had a reaction!
It was horrible; within a couple minutes my face was bright red wherever this touched, and burning badly. I washed it off immediately, but the redness stayed for several hours. You could even seen the outlines of where my fingers had applied it!!
I even reread the packaging to make sure it wasn't a chemical peel that I had somehow missed; HORRIBLE product! Who would use this twice a day?? There should definitely be a warning on this product about the sun juice or whatever in the world is in it that is so abrasive. I see I am far from the only person who had this reaction. AVOID!!
I have a bad allergy to this product. It is very clear and light and absorbs like a serum, but my skin starts burning when I use it.
Burned my face
I applied this to my face and neck. This immediately burned my entire face. 24 hours later it is still red and inflamed. I look terrible.
Red burning face
I used this for the first time last night prior to reading all the reviews. After an hour my face began burning and turned bright red. I washed it off as soon as it started to bug me. I woke up this morning and it was worse. I'm in so much pain! Do not use!!
I won't even finish the sample...
I have used this several times over a period of a few weeks, and only at night [it's a fairly generous sample], and sometimes taking a break for a day or so, to see if I was maybe reacting to something else, and the result is the same. My skin burns and gets splotchy when I use it. My skin calms down after awhile [a long while, so morning use would be impractical for me], but still, that should not happen. I really tried to like it, but I just have to conclude that it really just is not working for me. Also, I did not realize until now that even though the product is free of sulfates, synthetic fragrance, dyes and GMOs, it does contain parabens, which is a deal breaker for me. So, it's a no go for me. It's a shame.
